"We need to stay quiet! Stella?"
*Stella nodding her head.*
We heard the footsteps moving back to the kitchen. We can hear my mom whimpering.
"WHO ELSE IS HERE?"
"No one... my kids are at college. I-it's only me, and my husband."
"But he's at work."
We heard the man grunt like if he wanted our dad but Stella's dad passed over 6 years ago.
"What time is he getting back?"
"I... it... it depe—"
Her words were cut short. Stella backed up so we can escape from the window, and dropped her snow globe onto the floor that her dad gave her.
"What was that?!"
"Oh yeah I'm having a lot of animals... mostly cats coming in and dropping things."
The man didn't believe her so he came closer, and started knocking down the door. He got it to open but I didn't have enough time to escape; I'm glad Stella did. He pulled me by my hair.
"OWWwww!!!! LET GO OF ME!!" I wiggled trying to escape from his hold.
He dragged me to the kitchen.
"SHOPHI!!"
"LET GO OF HER!!" Shouted a man.
I didn't recognize who it was until he pulled me into his arms, and pulled me outside.
"Stay here!!"
I was crying... so I didn't look up to see until his back was merging forward back into the house.
"Li..Liam?"
*He stopped and looked back while smiling... I felt someone run up hugging me!!It was...*
"STELLA!!...MOM! You guys are okay!!"
"Oh sweetie... Yeah we are that young man saved us."
"Wait I don't understand where did he come from?? Stella??"
"Idk but I'm thankful that he was."
*The man ended up sprinting out of the house not even looking at us. Liam comes out after him. Stella sprints to him as she hugs him. While I walked up to Liam.*
"Thank you Liam. I don't know what would have happened if you weren't here."
"No worries I'm just glad I was... I saw you from a friends house... I saw the man pull you from your hair."
"Oh you saw that?..."
"Yeah and I'm glad I recognize who he was pulling."
"Yeah thank you. What house did you see me from??"
"Oh umm..."
He points to the olive green house across from ours.
But that house has been vacant for years?! I didn't asked anything else but I did want to know why he lied?
"Oh... Well thanks again for helping us."
"Yeah. You guys sure you don't need to go to the hospital? I can drive you guys there."
"Oh no we're fine." I answered him.
*I hugged him goodbye and waved when we went back to our home from the window.*
I still don't feel right. Something is missing here??
