I kept on running not looking back if the officer was still chasing me.
Without a thought running through my mind I stopped.
My whole body had won me over, I was exhausted; my bones felt heavy on my skin. I couldn't keep going.
But I still didn't stop.
I got to a tree I decided to climb it because it had a little slope on the branch.
I climbed.
"Ouch." I murmured.
I finally reached the branch, and I just slammed my body against it. Hanging like a tiger with its arms down and legs hanging.
*Next day*
"Hey!!!"
"Hey!!" I hear a girl repeat.
"Get off my tree that's my spot go get your own tree." She told me.
I woke up to a little girl screaming at me. But I couldn't understand.
I figured out that she wanted this tree so I dropped myself to the ground.
Straightening myself to look at the girl.
We had an awkward stare for a few minutes.
"Honey."
"Sweetheart."
"Where are you..."
"Oh....he-ll-o"
This lady was calling out for someone. I'm guessing it was the mom of the little girl.
"Hi." I softly spoke.
"You can talk." Said the little girl.
"Honey! Don't be rude."
"I'm not! She just wouldn't talk when I told her it was my tree."
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry sweetie, are you lost?" The lady asked while bending down to my level.
I nodded my head thinking she said if I was hungry.
I was totally wrong.
