Why didn't you want me mum,
Wasn't I good enough for you.
All I wanted was someone to love me,
Even that you couldn't do.
I was robbed of my childhood,
My Innocence was taken away.
I never knew what love was,
Then you gave me away.
All I wanted was my family,
Like other children have.
But you fostered me out to strangers,
When all I ever wanted,
Was my real mum and dad.
I just needed someone too love,
But it wasn't meant to be.
Although I needed you mum,
I knew you never needed me.
