Two hours of perfect before a peaceful night sleep and now it was back to the bullshit. Nothing good ever seemed to last long in their apartment. Rebecca had been woken by the sound of Liam’s phone ringing. She kept her eyes closed listening closely as Liam picked it up walking into the bathroom. Yes, she was well aware it was rude to ease drop but it was also rude to cheat. She could only make out bits and piece of his conversation; however, it was enough to know she didn’t like his little chat. “Alright babe” and “I’ll see you then,” what the hell was he thinking, that she wouldn’t know?

The bathroom door creaked open as Liam walked out trying to be quiet. He started getting dressed, while Rebecca silently debated on calling him out. Rolling over she watched him put on his faded blue jeans and white button up shirt. He tossed her an apologetic smile when he noticed she was awake.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you honey,” he apologized softly.

She shrugged letting him know she wasn’t worried about being woke up. She wondered if it was Samantha he was getting all dressed up for or someone new.

“Where are you going,” she asked forcing a yawn.

It was his turn to shrug.

“Adam called wanted to know if I could catch the hockey game with him.”

It could be true she thought but why did he need to be all dressed up. She pondered her feelings as he sat on the edge of the bed to put on his shoes. He wouldn’t be calling Adam babe she concluded but what could she do about it.

“Have fun,” she told him hoping he really was going to the game.

He smiled brightly at her kissing her on the head before he headed for the door. She smiled back even though she was dying a little inside with each thought of him being with another woman.

“Love you,” he called out from the living room.

She didn’t have time to say it back before she heard the door shut. Sighing she knew she needed to get out of the apartment, have some fun. If he could go out with friends so could she. Picking up her phone she pressed speed-dial five, calling Looney Bitch popped onto her screen. After pressing the speaker phone button she sat the phone onto the nightstand by her bed and started getting dressed.

“What do you want hoe,” her friend Kat asked answering the phone.

“To hang, I was thinking we could grab some lunch,” Rebecca suggested, laughing at her friend.
