I declare

That without you, I would have a nightmare.

I don’t need to compare, your beauty so damn rare

And when you walk by, I can’t help but stare.

But I swear, life is never fair.

I sit in my armchair, fully aware.

That you wouldn’t care, for a guy who is all square.

And when you look at me with that glare and swear that I look threadbare, somewhere I feel my heart tear.

You've ensnared me and impaired me.

And you carry on going elsewhere, while I sat over there and struggled to repair.

And yet after all you did I still say a prayer, for your own welfare.

Because lets be fair, I still care.
