The Heroes Mark

The Lair

"Welcome children." Master Quarren said while showing them his lair. It was more of a cave than a lair as there were not much things there. 

"We would prefer if you do not call us children." replied Jason.

"Whatever." said Master Quarren

"Would you boys like some drinks before we start?" asked Master Quarren.

"JUST GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. IT'S NOT LIKE THIS HAPPENS EVERYDAY IN OUR LIVES." replied Zach angrily.

"Ok ok chill guys. Anyway, why don't you boys take a seat? It would be much better that way."

They nodded and took a seat. "So, what happened to you boys is that you were chosen. You might not believe what I am about to tell you but each one of you were chosen as heroes. Heroes that will save this world for the coming war."

"You think that this is a joke,old man? Something happened to Thomas today and you might want to tell us the truth before we leave." said Alexander.

"Let me explain the story from the very beginning. A millennium ago there were five heroes that were the defenders of the galaxy. They were unbeatable until one day when one of the five called Shawn betrayed his brothers-in-arms, Simon, Kelvin, Tyler and Justin. He fought against them in an epic battle. The four were no match for him as his Rod was made from pure energy. Their battle caused the destruction of their homeland Sinos. Now after many years, Chlone, the creator of the Five has chosen four of you to defeat Shawn. Shawn is currently preparing for battle when he attacks earth. You boys have to be ready by then. Or else your whole planet, your families, friends, relatives will all die."

The boys listened carefully but they still could not believe it. They could not take it in that all of this were true. "So what now?" asked Thomas. " Now I have been chosen by Chlone to guide you boys through your journey and prepare for the war. Firstly you boys need your weapons. Lucky for you, I have found them all. Follow me and I will show them to you." 

They followed him as they went into a room that was at the far side of the cave. As they entered, lights turned on from every corner. Infront of them was a table, and the weapons were laid neatly on the table.

"These are the cuffs." The cuffs are two metal cylinders which you could put your hand through it " If I am not mistaken, this goes to you, Thomas. They are a pair of very complicated weapons. It allows you  to change into any type of animal that you can think of. But it isn't that easy. You will need to concentrate on the type of animal that you want to change into, which means that you will need to have inner peace. Understand?" asked Master Quarren. "Yeah, I guess so..." replied Thomas.

"Next the Bow and Arrow. This goes to you,Zach. The weapon has a lot of power and strength. The Bow and Arrow is mostly used in long distances. You will never run out of arrows. You don't have a quiver because every time you pull the string an arrow will immediatly form in it's appropriate position. There are many types of arrows. You will need to learn about them all."

Zach nodded warily and took hold of the weapon.

"Next we have the lava blades. Honestly, I hate this weapon but it is kind of powerful. This goes for you, Jason. These blades can break through almost everything. They are extremely sharp and can be pulled out. And by that I mean that when you swing it, chains will form in between the blade and the handle. That means it can cover quite a distance. Here, take it."

"Can I rename it though?"

"Yea, sure. What would you like to name it as?"

"Chicken nuggets" replied Jason.

"CHICKEN WAT?" asked Master Quarren, shocked.

"chicken nuggets....." Jason muttered under his breath.

"Why would you want to name it Chicken Nuggets?" asked Thomas while chuckling.

"I have always  wanted to name something Chicken Nuggets." Jason replied.

"Ohkay.......Anyway, moving on  are the last weapons. I personally like these the most. These weapons are the spear and shield. The shield is pure titanium and is enchanted with a spell that makes it indestructible. The spear is extremely powerful as there is more than 8000000 volts at the tip of the spear. That is more than enough to vaporize someone. The owner also has unlimited amount of spears as every time he throws it, it immediately return once he wills it to do so. Alexander, This is yours. Take it." said Master Quarren.

"Oh yeah, this is so awesome." said Alexander.

"Now that you boys have gotten all of you weapons, it is time for your training to begin. Follow me." Master Quarren led them to the back of the cave. At the back of it was an opening leading to a large green field. "This feild is not known to anyone else, which means that we are free to do our training here. Now leave your weapons here and come back tomorrow after school. Then, we can start training." said Master Quarren.

The boys nodded and went back home.
