Chapter 1

"Madison Hope Clifford get your butt up." My mum shouts.

"In a minute!" I groan I lie down trying to get back up, but can't do so. I lie there and go back to sleep.

                                               ~~~~~~~~~~~~
I jump up when I feel water splash on my face. I jolt up wiping my face, wiggling my nose so it would stop burning.
"Get up!" My mum yells in my ear.
"Why?" I ask groaning.
"Because we're having visitors." She informs me. Oh god, I really don't want visitors today.
"But why?" I ask.
"Because I said so, so get dressed. You have an hour and a half." She says and walks out. I roll over and I regret it.
Not very short after my shoulder connects with the floor just like the right side pain shoots through my arm. I get up miserably because I know if I don't get up; knowing my mom will help me up and trust me we don't want that. I walk to my closet slumping. The good thing is, well, I'm trying to see a positive thought, but sadly I don't find one.
I pull out random clothes out of my closet. I eventually pick out a crop top that says 'BAD LUCK' in red and the rest of it black, and it's a little bit up my belly button enough to see my belly button piercing. I put on my light blue jean shorts and black vans, with white shoelaces. I add a charm bracelet and makeup. I put on lipstick that matched my lips, which was a dark red lipstick and one coat of mascara and I'm done.
I grab my iPhone 5s and stick it in my back pocket with my headphones wrapped around it. I head downstairs and I can't wait to eat pancakes I mean I prefer them instead of waffles. Suddenly that reminds me of my brother Michael Clifford in a band called Five Seconds Of Summer and let me tell you the boys in it are very strange if we're being on honest here. Do they ring a bell yes, no? If you don't look, then look them up and if you do, don't you agree with me? I do at least. I walk to the fridge, but notice that there's a note hanging. I snatch it and put the magnetic on the fridge so I don't lose it like usual.
                 Went out. Be back in a hour or so.
                                       -Mum
Finally I have the house to myself, well, I usually do because I only have one sibling and that's Michael. He's rarely home, wait a minute, he's never home for that matter. He's always on trips touring around, but I'm used to it. He didn't get to see me graduating and yeah, I was sort of upset, but you know I can't do anything about it now.
You know how when people have younger or older siblings, they wish they could have the house to themselves? Well, I don't. I wish to have a sibling to playfully fight with, but as you can see I don't and honestly it sucks. I miss my weird, lazy, color-hair-dying brother, but he doesn't need to know that though. You probably start missing your siblings after they're gone for one whole year and missed your graduation and your birthday. I think you get the point. Anyways...
Ding dong. Ding dong.
Oh come on, I was going to eat it's very, very important to me.
"Coming!" I shout.
Ring. Ring. Ring...
Oh, now my phone? Seriously?! I answer the call and see that it's Michael.
"Hello?" I say into the cell.
"Hey sis, whatcha doing?" He asks I look around at what I'm doing:
Nothing.
"Nothing why?" I answer and question.
