I knocked on the door, softly. "Come in." Michael said. He was still in his red pajamas.
Here you go." I said handing him some papers. "Thank you." He said with no emotion. I could easily tell he was upset. He rarely acted like this. He's usually cheerful and smiling.
He read and signed the papers.
"Michael, are you alright?" I asked. "I'm alright." He brushed it off. He smiled faintly. Even though he says he's "alright" I know it still bothers him. He recently divorced his wife, Lisa Marie Presley.
He really loved her. But I guess she didn't want too be with him anymore. I really don't see why. Like, look at him he's beautiful, sweet, kind, everything that a woman could want. "Are you sure, your alright." I said looking at him. "Yes, I'm sure." He said looking down at the floor.
"Ok." I said quietly. He didn't always express his feelings well.
It was an awkward silence in the room. I looked at him. Poor baby. He looks so sad. I couldn't see him sad like this anymore so I took it upon my self and said "Michael, you've been like this for two days now. I can't see you like this anymore." I said walking over to him. I tried to pull him up. His arms were so toned.
"Noo." He said, trying not to smile. "Nope, come on Michael." I said pulling him up. "You have to get up."
"Ok." He said and stood up. He was not standing in front of me. "What now?" He said smiling, he had his arms folded.
"That's the smile I've been looking for." I smiled. Seeing him smile made me smile. He laughed a little.
"Now Michael, I want you to go get dressed. We are gonna have some fun." I said. "Ok." He said, turning around on the heels of his feet. He walked out of the living area.
My phone rung. I looked down at my phone and saw that it was my friend, Sienna. I answered.
"Hello." I said.
"Hey, Jess." Sienna said.
"How are you."
"I'm good, are you still coming."I forgot that had to go to the party.
"I'm sorry, I totally forgot." I apologized.
"I'm not going to make it." I added.
"It's okay. You can come to the next one." She sighed.
"Ok." I said.
"Bye" She said.
"Ok, bye." I said. She hung up.I put my phone in my pocket and sat down. I waited for him.
He came into the living area. He had on a blue long sleeve shirt, black pants, his black loafers, and black fedora. "I'm ready." He said, holding his arms out.
I got up and walked over to him. "You ready?" I asked. "Yeah, yeah I'm ready."
I grabbed his hand and ran outside. We stopped. I looked around Neverland. Out in the distance you could see the sun beginning to go down. "What a beautiful view?" Michael said . I looked back at him. He looked up at the sky. You can see the stars were twinkling in his eyes. I smiled at the sight. And turned back to face the view. Michael squeezed my hand a little. bit my lip while thinking what to do.
"So, what do you want to do now?" I asked.
"Umm, anything you want?" He said.
"Ok, how about go on the Ferris wheel?" I said.
"Ok." He said walking slowing. Then all of sudden he said. "Last one there is an rotten egg." He was such a child at heart. I ran behind him. "That's not fair." I yelled, catching up to him. Even though he ran before me, I still beat him. "Why are you so fast?" He said breathing kinda hard. "I ran track, 4th grade through college." I said between breathes.
He chuckles.
