Chapter 4

Jessica's POV

Two weeks later

We've Been talking for almost 5 hours now. Talking about things like what new movies are coming out, things that we should do, a lot of things. "Jess." Michael said softly. I looked up. "Yes." I answered. "Can I ask you a question?" "Sure." I replied.

"Okay, so I was wondering if you would like to go to dinner with me?" Michael asked. My heart stopped. My jaw hung wide open. I was shocked. Michael sat down staring at me, waiting for an answer. "It's okay if you d-" "I would love to." I cut Michael off.

His face lit up. "That's great." He said, getting up holding his arms out for a hug. I got up and hugged him.

His hugs felt so....magical. They made me have all these different feels run through my body. We pulled apart.

"Would you like for me to pick you up at 8:00 tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yes, that would be great."

I'm so excited. I was cheesing really hard because my cheeks were starting to hurt. Inside I was dancing and screaming. But on the outside I guess I was looking normal. I'm happier than a kid in a candy store. I'm gonna try not to smile. Nope. It's not working.

Michael gave me a funny look. "Are you ok?" Michael said laughing. "Yeah, why?" I said. "It's just that you are smiling really hard." He giggled.

"Oh." I said kinda embarrassed.

Michaels phone in his office rung.

"Excuse me this will only take a second." He said holding up one finger and walking out of the room and into his office.

I sat there patiently. Then all of a sudden I heard Michael yelling kinda loud. It kinda shocked me cause I've never really heard Michael yell.

"No." He shouted. "I said no." He said. I heard him slam the phone down on the hook.

He came back in with a kinda of angry face but he tried to look calm.

"What's wrong Michael?" I asked leaning forward a little. I was kinda worried.

"Lisa she wants me back now. She says she wants to have children with me. And I said no." He answered

"It's ok Michael." I said.
