Chapter 9

Today, Michael had to go to a meeting for a tour he has coming up. So, that leaves me here by myself. The maids and chef were off the weekend.

All I could here was my foot steps hitting the wooden floor.

I walked downstairs and went to the fridge to get something's to eat. There were a lot of choices.

He had a lot of fruit. I bit my lip, while deciding what to

"DING DONG! DING DONG!" The door bell chimed. I went to answer it.

When I opened it, there stood a woman that looked a little bit older than me. Probably in her mid to late 20s. She was about my height, maybe a little taller. She had light brown, curly hair. That stopped a little bit past her shoulders.

She had a caramel skin tone and her lips were a light brown. Her cheek bones were high and she was kinda skinny.

"Hi, I'm Alicia DawsonShe said, holding out her hand for me to shake. I shook it.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Jessica Warwick." I smiled back. "You can come in."

"Thank you." She walked in and sat on the couch. She looked around.

"So, is Michael here?" She asked, looking at me. "No, he's at a meeting." I responded.

"Oh okay. Do mind if I stay until he gets back?" She asked. "Sure, I don't mind."

"Thanks. So, are you Michael's girlfriend or..?" She asked.

Well...

"No, not really. We're kinda are but no." I answered. "Oh." That was the only thing she say I guess. She rolled her eyes and smiled..

I sighed.

-------

"I'm home, Jess." Michael's voice echoed through the house. "I'm in the din, Michael." He came into the din where me and Alicia were sitting.

"Hey, Jessica" Michael said, while pulling me into a hug and placed a kiss on my cheek.

"Your meeting was over early today I see." I said and smiled. "Yeah." He said and looked over at Alicia.

"Alicia, I'm glad you made it." Michael walked over to her and gave her a big hug. "What's up Mike." She said.

"Nothing much. How about yourself?" Meh exclaimed. "Same old, same old. "

"I'm sure you two have already you two met but Jessica this one of my old friends and dance choreographer Alicia. Alicia this is my personal assistant." He introduced us.

I'm smiled. "You ready to practice Michael?" She stood up. "Yea, sure." Michael said.

"Wanna come watch Jessica?" He asked.

"Uh...no thank you. I'll be outside if you need me." I said. "You're sure?" He he asked making sure.

"I'm sure."

"Okay. We'll be in the dance studio." He said.

"Okay." They walked to where the studio was.

I went outside and sat on the swings. Swing back and forth slowly. The sky was turn into a ocean full of colours. The night breeze swept across my face.

To be honest, I was kinda jealous. I don't really know why. It's not like they are a couple or any... Well Michael and I aren't even a couple. We've slept in bed together once but I don't think that makes us a couple. Why am I jealous?
