My name is Amy and I am in middle school. I know it's still the same school all the same people but I can't help but feel anxious. I go to a small school with no more than 300 kids. At this school everyone knew everyone. I didn't really hate it that much but I just wanted to blend in. Me being a 5'9" girl you stick out a heck of a lot. Also with me having red hair I wasn't one who could hide in the back and not get called out. This is what I hated the most it was hard with a mixture of anxiety and depression pushing down on me everything was hard. I hated sports and the only clubs were drama and chess. So my parents were always yelling at me to do something either outside or with friends. We never really got along, they called me emo or goth and acted ashamed of me which did not help my confidence at all. I only had one friend at school who I didn't dread talking to, honestly I loved having her around. I never knew I could get so close to someone and I shared almost everything with her. We were those girls who always got mistaken for sister or twins. Her name was Angi. The only person that could put my depression and anxiety on hold, and that's probably why I never told her, I just always forgot whenever I was around her. With her I was a different person, I felt as if I could be anything and for once I felt wanted. We spent years together, 9 exactly. Until she moved.
