Ashley walked up to me and said, "Chloe's asking for you." I nodded, feeling nervous; I slowly walked up to where Chloe was. Why did she even want to talk to me for? I just didn’t get it. I thought she hated me. I slowly walked into her room. I bit my lip when I was face-to-face with her.

“Why did you save me for?” She asked.

I gave her a sly smile. “Because you’re having Max’s baby and I don’t want you to die, Chloe.”

She took a deep breath. “Alison I need your help.”

I sighed. "How can I help you?" I asked. "I thought you hated me! And now you want my help?"

"I... Um...” She blinked and continued with a soft murmur," This is so awkward...." I laughed. She thinks this was awkward! She was not the only one who thinks that! But hey, it’s better than being at home with my mother and Sam. She never told me her “big news” Maybe she was having my half brother or sister! Oh, God! I hope that wasn’t true. My life would be over as we speak.

"I feel your pain, trust me." I replied.

She sighed," You only sort of know.... Or have the opposite idea."

"True, true." I told her. "So what am I helping you with?"

She sighed again," I need help with-" She cuts off as someone ran down the hallway yelling," HELP!”

It was a woman’s voice. "My son is dying." She yelled to a doctor.

The woman quickly glanced at us, her sandy blonde hairs were like rags and her green eyes sparkled with hope. She wanted our help. I slowly walked my way over to her. “What happened to your son?”

"M-My boyfriend tired to kill him." She busted into sobs again as I hugged her in a comforting way. Though, I wasn't too comfortable hugging her. She could be over here lying to me about this. What if it was her, who tried to kill her own son? I didn't trust this person.

She cried some after those thoughts then she wiped her eyes with her knuckles, snot still running down her face from her nose. I saw a doctor walking his way over to her. The doctor patted her on the back slowly, trying to cheer her up. It helped a little more than my hug did…or maybe a lot. "Sounds like you have a lucky son." I heard the doctor say. She nods slowly, and some drops of water sprinkle down her right cheek. I walked back to Chloe's Room and closed the door behind me.

She wondered out loud," I wonder what will happen to her.... no them."

"No telling." I replied. If they find out it was her who tried to kill him, who knows what's going to happen. But of course, I kept that one little thought to myself.

She sighed," Well, that was entertaining."

"Let me guess, Max is not the baby's father." I asked aloud. She sighed, a long deep sigh that seemed to go on for forever.

“Don't say anything!" She yelled. "No one can know the truth. Promise me you won’t say a word."

I motioned zipping my lips and throwing a key out the window. "I might just go get that key back." I said and motioned holding the key and unzipping my mouth.

“You better not tell anyone about this Alison.  I swear to God, if you do, it will end badly!"

I laugh, a short laugh and creep closer. “Just tell me who the father is, and we can forget about all of this.”

"I-its Chaz Evans."
