My t-shirt fell as I hung upside down from the monkey bars. I quickly flipped off and tucked it into my shorts. My best friend Bonnie laughed at me from the top of the monkey bars. I jumped, grabbed hold of the bars, and flipped myself over.
"Nice one Lindsey!" Somebody said. I looked down to see a girl about my age with black pigtails and black eyes. One of the new twins.
"Thanks...er..."
"Chrissie"
"Yeah. Thanks Chrissie" Chrissie turned and walked away. Bonnie snorted at my red face, which was flushed from embarrassment. I rolled my eyes, flipped off the bars, and did a few handsprings. My name is Lindsey Jackson. I'm twelve years old, with short, blonde-brown hair and light brown eyes. I'm a gymnast, and have training 4 times a week. I'm in class 6B with Bonnie.
"What do you think your DNA test is going to say?" Bonnie asked.
"Not sure," I replied. "Probably not anything out of the ordinary." Two weeks ago on Friday, each person in the class brought in a spit sample, which were sent to the experts for DNA tests. The bell rang loudly, and we headed back into class.

"Well, I promised you your DNA test results, and here they are," Mrs Bentley looked around at the class with a stack of paper in her arms. She started walking around the class, laying the results on our desks. She walked to Chrissie and gave her hers, but walked straight past the other twin. Maybe she didn't notice her? She walked straight past both Malisca and Keeva, (the most popular girls in the school!), and you can't not notice them. Keeva and Malisca stared after her, a mixture of shock and disgust painted on their faces. Then she came to Bonnie, gave her her results, and walked straight past me without looking at me. Bonnie took a piece of paper from her desk and scribbled something down. Then she passed me the note.
'Why do you think you didn't get yours?'
I shrugged my shoulders in return. 'Strange,' I thought.
