*2nd book of Age*
After 93 days I'm finally walking free, I'm able to go home and see my family. I'll be able to see John , Nate ,and Hayden.
As I'm sitting in the back of a police car all these thoughts run through my mind. What if he found some other girl? If he found another girl is she taking my place as a mother? Does anyone care about me? How come they stopped looking for me?
"Ma'am we're here" the officer smiled "thank you so much" I gave a small smile as I breath in a deep breath. Millions if thoughts are running through my mind, my breath is hitching, I can feel my heart rate feel like it's gonna burst out of my chest.
I knock 3 times on the door, I bite my lip chewing on the skin. The door swung open Nate stood there speechless, his face is so white it looks like he's seen a ghost, "edith" he cried "i-im home" my voice cracked. I was pulled into a huge bear hug by my best friend.
Salty tears rushed down my face. I didn't care how I looked I'm just glad to be home and seeing the people I love. "I've missed you so damn much" he whispered in my ear "I missed you to Nate" I squeezed him tightly.
"Swazz come here!" Nate yelled "why the fuck do I have to get up you could have just came her-" he immediately quit talking when he saw my face. His phone dropped to the floor "I uh g" he stuttered "your home" he finished.
I ran into his arms and wrapped my arms around his waist squeezing him tightly. I sobbed into his shirt, crying like no tomorrow. "Edith I've missed you so much and I'm so fucking sorry for that dumb ass argument I should have ran after you but instead I turned around, I couldn't stop blaming myself I'm sorry baby "
being in his arms made me feel like jello, I couldn't move or let go. "Where's Hayden?" I wiped away my tears "shes in the living room " I ran into my house and saw my babygirl. She looked way older " I missed her second birthday" I frowned.
