The next morning, when Scout woke up the first time, Andy wasn't there.
The second time she woke up, maybe an hour later, she was woken up by her phone vibrating next to her, tucked beneath her arm. She picked it up and looked at it, and it was some number she didn't even know.
That's when she figured out it wasn't even her phone.
It was Andy's, and he had left it there, probably forgetting about it. She just hoped it wasn't anyone really important.
She picked it up anyway, just incase.
"Hello?" she answered as she got up from bed, resting the phone between her head and her shoulder as she tried as best as she could to quickly make the sheets.
"Hello?" a female voice said on the other line, one that was awfully familiar. "Excuse me? Who are you?"
"....It's Scout. Andy's girlfriend...."
"Andy's girlfriend, huh?" The girl smirked. "What a cheater. I knew he would do this." She paused for a minute. "I gotta go. I'm about to go give him a taste of his own freaking medicine."
"What? What do you mean, who are you?" Scout asked, panicking. "Don't hurt him!"
"Really? So you want a guy who's a cheater? Who takes advantage of you as he goes off and sleeps with another one? Okay, Scout. Smart."
"Who are you? Is this Juliet?"
The other line, for a moment, was silent. "Who else?"
Juliet hung up, leaving Scout awestruck, and angry once again. If this all really was true....
