Never Stood A Chance

Juliet was gone the next morning, and the hotel room was trashed when Andy woke up and looked around him.

He got up with a minor headache, and had to sit down for another minute or two as a result of the sudden dizziness he felt.

He had drank way too much last night.

Andy cursed, seeing his belongings strewn across the floor and over everything. Toilet paper was wrapped around everything and the small amount of food that he had brought with him was all over the floor, including the remainder of a small jug of milk. So.... that was what that smell was.

The first thing he checked in his ripped-open suitcase was his wallet. His credit card wasn't gone, thankfully, but the cash that he liked to carry around was completely gone, all 200 bucks of it.

He hated Juliet, and even before this had happened he knew he shouldn't have brought her with him or had anything to do with her in the first place.

She was a jerk.

A brat.

A liar.

A phony; a fake.

And he wished then that he never even had talked to her to begin with.

So many more things were missing of his, but he didn't have the time to repair or find them, including the pieces of his heart.

He knew they would've never stood a chance, anyway.
