Marie stared at me, grinning hugely. "OMG, you look so cute! Meyer's gonna go nuts!" I groaned, tugging at the tight leggings. "They're itchy! And I don't like Meyer anymore!" She rolled her eyes dramatically. "Riiiiiight. And I'm Ginnifer Goodwin. Now, come on! We have to catch the bus!" I slipped on my UGS and thudded down after Marie. "Bye, mom!" She looked up from her toast. "See you, sweetie!" We raced to the bus stop, just in time. The bus driver glared at us "Next time, girls, I'll just keep going." I nodded, giving him my overused 'I won't do it again' smile. Marie just rolled her eyes. "Yes, Larry." We rushed to two open seats and slumped into them. "What a jerk! We always make the bus, we're the last stop, and we always get to school 20 minutes early. He's such a ****-****! " I rolled my eyes at Marie's complaints. "The faster he gets us there, the closer he is to getting off probation for swearing in front of kindergarteners." We giggled at the memory. "And remember when they started saying the word to everyone? Classic!" We chatted like we hadn't seen each other in a week, besides we hasn't. "I can't wait to see Mr. Higgins' face when he sees Ms. LaPere again! He so has a crush on her!" I frowned. "Too bad she's engaged." Marie shrugged. "Yeah, yeah, poor him. Oh my god, do you think Ryan got hotter over the holidays? I bet he did! He's so hot!" I moaned. "Ryan's a big jerk, Marie. He only cares about himself, and he's a heartbreaker." Marie stuck her tongue out. "Kadi. hotness makes up for other faults. Don't you know that?" I shook my head. "C'mon, the bus has stopped. Let's go." We walked off the bus, and who do we bump into but- "Ryan! Hi! how was your break?" I grimaced at Marie, groaning on the inside. "Good. I got the car I wanted. Hey, Kadira." I growled at him, muttering "Loser." He grinned. "Whoops, you must have me confused with someone else, meaning you." Marie smiled awkwardly. "Sweetie, don't tease Kadi. I love you both, but if I have to choose, I'm gonna choose Kadi." Ryan kissed her on the cheek. " 'Kay, babe. Hey, did you hear there's a new girl? Her name's Lola." Marie wrinkled her nose. "60s much. What a silly name. Come on, Ry-Ry, I want some soda." He smirked. "Are you sure you don't want some sugar instead?" Marie giggled.
