Chapter 1- The Meeting

As I was strolling around, I saw a mirror. I looked at my reflection. "I really need new clothes, but how?" I asked myself while looking at a clothes shop. "Jackpot!" I ran inside then saw that no one was there. "I know its illegal but I really need it." I get stuff here and there even a bag. I changed fast so no one can see me. I went outside after that. I saw a woman standing near a post. "Um excuse me, but what city is this?" The woman looked at me curiously. "Oh this is the city of New York. Lost?" She asked looking sympathetic. "Yes. Thank you miss." I said then turn around. "Wait miss!" "What is it?" I looked at her. "Do you have a home?" "Why are you asking me that?" "I saw you earlier lying unconscious. I am waking you up but you're deeply asleep. So I left you." She explained while twiddling her fingers. "Oh so that's why I woke up" I said laughing. "So do you have a home?" "No I don't. Can you be trusted?" I said while looking at her seriously. "Don't worry. I am trusted. I am the secret keeper of my friends." She said happily. "Oh okay." "So will you come with me?" She looked at me with hope in her eyes. "No. You look like you cannot be trusted. Bye miss." I said then walked away. I opened my bag and pat my old clothes. "Oh money!" I get the money and count it. "1000 dollars. This can get me for 1 week." I felt hungry so I go to  McDonalds for a burger and fries with coke literally. I take it for take out so I can eat outside. I ate the fries first so I still have a burger later. I drank half of the coke. I saw a motorcycle heading at my direction so I dodged. Then I looked at it shocked because a girl was hit by it. The driver just keep on driving not minding the girl. I ran to her. "Hey are you alright?" I asked panic seeping on my voice. "Yes but my feet maybe sprained because I dodged it running but it still hit me." She said in pain. "I'll bring you to the hospital. Can you stand?" I said." I don't know." She said while rubbing her foot. "Can I borrow your phone? Wait a minute." "What?" "You're the girl from earlier!" I remembered. "Oh yeah! Oh here is my phone by the way." She handed me her phone. I dialed 911 and I say the details of what happened and our location. After that we just waited for the ambulance to arrive. While waiting we talked for a little bit. "Why are you here?" I asked her. "I am searching for you because you walked away. I saw all that you did until that incident happen." She said to me in a painful way. *wiiyuu!wiiyuu!* "oh the ambulance is here." I said to her. They carried her carefully. I came with her. When we arrive at the hospital, the doctor ask me what happened. I fill him up with details about the accident. Then he checked the girl's foot. "It's just a minor sprain. We will just wrap a bandage at your foot and medicine at your wound on your shoulder." The doctor said. I saw her wincing. "Hey miss." The girl called out to me. "What is it?" "Will you come home with me?" I thought about it. She trusted me about her accident and I help her with it. 'Might as well go with her.' "Well I help you and you keep resisting me." "So does that mean?" "Yep I am coming with you." I said with finality. "Yay! You're now living with me!" She said happily! "Why are you so happy?" I asked her. "Because now I have someone with me. I live alone anyway." She said sadness enveloping in her voice. "What happened? Why are you living alone?" I asked her. "Because...." "You can go now ms. Keila" the doctor said as he entered the room. "Thank you doctor." I said. "Um..pay me first." "Oh wait." I fished my pockets for my money. "Is this enough?" I asked. "I am just joking." He said while laughing. "Oh okay. Bye ms. Lorraine!" We said unison as we exited the room. With Keila having a stand of course.  "What is the reason why are you living alone?" I asked her. "Can I just say later at home?" She said turning sad as she stopped walking. "Oh okay." "Come on now um...." She stopped talking as she doesn't know my name. "Um... Sorry Keila. I don't remember my name." I said sadly. "You got an amnesia?!" She said shocked. " maybe that's the case." I said sighing. "Oh what name is beautiful for you...hm...." She tapped her chin. Thinking for a good name. "Lola? Too childish, Liza? Too girly. Oh! Elizabeth! That's a great name for you! She said happily. "Elizabeth huh." I said my name with a smile. 'I really like it.' I thought to myself. "Let's go Elizabeth!" She said happily. "Hey wait okay?!" I said grinning. Maybe my life with her is going to be fun after all. I followed her and got to the bus. This is going to be fun!
