Up and Terrified

Terrified, that was all I could feel right now. After several days of eating and sleeping I had finally gotten all of my strength back, well enough to get out of the infirmary. During my several long days here Toby and my uncles were the only people allowed to see me for some reason. Wow my Uncle Slender was really protective over me, sure I could have died but so could have Masky... I still felt horrid that I almost killed him. Toby did inform me that Masky did have a faster recovery than I did, which did make me feel a little bit better. It was mostly because I had to have several bullets removed as well as bones put back into place. I had around 20 bullets in me as well as a broken leg, a fractured ankle, and a broken arm. And damn I am happy that pain pills were invented.

I slowly sat up in the infirmary bed ready to get back to my real bed. Pain still courses through me as I slowly limped my way out of the cold room I had stayed in for a long time. If I was a normal human I surly would have died but since I am anything but normal I survived. The pain continued as I walked to my elevator, once I got into the elevator I decided to go a check on Masky even though he was already healed. I made my way out of the elevator and into the boys corridor, the pain of walking began to dull. When I had reached Masky's door I heard people talking, I slowly put my ear up to the door.

" I fucking hate her, she almost killed me and I could have died." I heard one voice say.
"Well she could have died as well."
A second voice chimed in.
" I doubt it, I bet she is a monster that can't die. And for a second I thought she was cute."
At that point I was limping back to the elevator to go cry my self to sleep. " And I thought that Masky was different from other people but it looks like I was wrong."
  The pain I had desperately tried to suppress had come rushing back like a cannonball to the chest. I couldn't breathe very well and every step felt like a bolt of lightning. Everything hurt, "what's going on I thought I was fine why do I hurt so much?" At that point I was already in my room, then the coughing started. I coughed and coughed and then the blood came, after every sickening cough I choked on blood. The coughing slowed but then the blood kept coming up.   The blood just kept coming and when the blood slowed I would cough and more would come up. Soon enough I started to get light headed and the room started to blacken and a sickening laughter was the last thing I heard before the blood loss had become to much and I passed out.

" I doubt it, I bet she is a monster that can't die. And for a second I thought she was cute." Ben said obviously annoyed that a girl beat him.
" Stop being so rude Ben it was her first day and frankly I would be happy if she finished you off then I wouldn't have to deal with you whining. And in any case it's not like the rest of us aren't unkillable monsters anyway."  Masky said. Ben then left Masky's room to go wallow in self-pity in his own room.
    When Masky was about to close the door that Ben left open, Toby bursts in obvious worried. " What's wrong Toby?" Toby being to busy with his own thoughts did not even realized that Masky had even spoken. " Not here!" Toby shouted then turned to run off, before he even took a step Masky grabbed the back of his shirt and stopped him from leaving. " Who isn't here and why are you so worried?" He looked at me like i was an idiot but went back to urgent almost immediately. " Its Kate i went to see her in the infirmary but she wasn't there! And now i can't find her anywhere!" I could tell that he was panicking, and even though he really irritates me i decided to help him.

We headed to the girls' floor to see if Kate was there. As we walked down the halls towards the direction Toby assured me was Kate's room, Toby began getting his ticking but it was worse than usual. Soon enough we stopped at a door that i assumed was her room. I knocked on the door but there wasn't an answer. Toby tried the door and it was unlocked, he looked at me with a question on his mind but I just shrugged. We peered into the room but the sight did nothing but worsen Toby's nerves.

There was blood on the floor and part of the bed, it looked like some one got shot and every puddle was another bullet entering them. Toby at this point was mumbling about Kate, where she was, how Slenderman was going to kill him and so on. The thought of even trying to "comfort" Toby left as soon as it came. So i decided to look around the room to  try and find something that might be any help on locating Kate. As i passed by Toby and started walking towards the window, i noticed a foot on the other side on the floor by the bed. I knelt down next to her and felt her for a pulse, luckily for Toby there was one but it was faint. " Hey Toby I  found Kate, she's unconscious and barely has a pulse but she's alive." At this Toby bolted to us and a look of relief took over his face. " Um how about since you are strong and stuff, you carry her back to the infirmary and i'll get Slenderman." He, deciding on the easier task, bolted back out of the room and down the hall before i could object to his decision.
