Chapter 4

Adam's POV:

Stephanie seems to fit in well at the offices. She seems so happy! I'm happy for her as well. In a couple days she needs to go to school, which I know she isn't going to like. But...there is going to be a surprise. I contacted my friend Jordan...who just so happened to have relation to a good friend of hers. I shake my hands together in anticipation.

"ADAM!!!" I hear Alesa yell from in the hallway. Sticking my head out of the door frame, I answer. "Yes?"

"Steph wants to visit Ross and Max and see them for the first time! Now!" I laugh at Steph's determination. This girl has spunk. "Tell her in like ten minutes!" I yell back down to Alesa.

"Okay!" I hear Alesa say, her footsteps retreating from my hearing. I then hear a high pitched squeal that I assume came from Steph, who runs into an adjoining room. "I NEED TO GET READY- THIS IS ALL WRONG!" Steph says in an exasperated voice. I laugh at her foolishness. Max is always wearing his pajamas to work and Ross doesn't care what you wear. But I let her run around for my own entertainment.

Stephs' POV:

We arrived at Max, Ross, and Tim's new house. It was beautiful on the outside! It was partly away from neighbors so they can rage all they want, but close enough to town so they can get food and supplies. It's the perfect spot!

Dad and I wanted to pull the same prank on Max, Ross, and Tim, that we pulled on Red and Barney. It's gonna be hilarious!

Max's POV: (Sorry for all the POV changes!)

"And that is all for this episode of Luigi's Mansion! I am Max, and this is Cheese, and we appreciate your existence." Shutting of my camera and screen recorder, I sink into my chair, giving Cheese a peck on the cheek. "2 hours of gameplay and we are only in Area 3. It's taking forever!" Cheese rubs me on my shoulders in sympathy.

"Yah this game is long" says Krista. "But it's so good so it's worth it."

I feel myself nodding in agreement. "It truly is". I then hear Galileo barking. Usually that means someones at the door. We weren't expecting anyone today though...

Cheese hears the barking as well, a wave of confusion crossing her face. "Were you expecting anyone today?" She asks me. I shake my head no. I then shrug, and leave my recording office so I can see who's at the door. Walking downstairs, I peek through the door hole. I am shocked to see a blonde girl sitting on my steps crying. I open the door carefully, as to not scare her. I then poke her in the back.

She turns, startled at my touch. I kneel down to face her. "Are you okay miss?" I ask. She shakes her head, trying to hold in her sobs. "I-I d-don't know where I am, and I lost my dad" she says shakily. I hear footsteps behind me. Turning, I see Krista, who seems as shocked as I am. She however, recovers quicker than I can. "Sweetie, what is your name? And who is your father?" says Cheese in a maternal tone.

"M-my name is Stephanie. And my dad's name is S-sky." My brows furrow. Could her dad be Adam? When did this happen? Krista goes and gives her a hug. "It will be okay sweetie, we will find your parents." Suddenly a car pulls into the driveway. It skids to a stop, and I see Adam jump out of the car. What the?! Adam runs up the sidewalk, and up the stairs, were he gives Stephanie a hug.

"Sweetie are you okay? I couldn't find you anywhere!" says Adam in a paternal tone. Now I'm really confused. Stephanie sniffles in her (father's?) arms. "We were w-walking and I got lost, and somehow ended up here." Adam then pulls her behind him, glaring at us.

"Did you do anything to her?!" he yells angerly. I step back in surprise. "Of course not Adam! Why would do that to a poor girl sitting on our doorstep?" I can feel Krista getting up from her kneeling position and standing slightly behind me. But before she could say anything, there is a laugh from behind Adam. Why is she laughing?! Peeking out from behind Adam's back, she is smiling and all of her tears are gone. How did she recover so quick?! Adam then breaks out into a smile, and laughs with her. I shake my head in disbelief. "What is going on?!" I say in utter confusion. What I hear next from Adam makes me mad.

"We got you so good!!!"

Oh my god I am so sorry for taking so long to update! I have been busy with work, school, and trying not to get my mother pissed off. xD No, this is not on hold, nor is it going to be deleted. I am still going strong! I hope to update more this weekend, but if I can't at least you guys got this!
