Chapter 9: Game meets Michelle's daughter

Michelle walked out of the bathroom and she put her hair behind her ears. She went into the living room and grabbed her car keys from the hook. She walked towards the door and the rest of them stopped her.

Asante: Where're you goin'?

Michelle: I'm goin' home where it's safe, and then, I'm goin' grocery shoppin'.

Viktoriya: Then, I'm comin' with you.

Michelle: No!

Viktoriya: Mom, you almost died, we almost lost you here! I'm not gonna let you leave without me this time. A mother isn't supposed to leave her daughter no matter what the causes and dangers are!

Dustin: She's right, M. Don't leave your daughter again. Don't let her suffer anymore.

Viktoriya (crying softly): Mommy, please?

Michelle walked towards her, grabbed her, and gave her a hug. They hugged each other and Michelle rubbed Viktoriya's head.

Michelle: I love you and I'm gonna do everything in my power to keep you safe. I've just gotta keep you say, Viktoriya.

She kissed Viktoriya's head.

Kelly: You've gotta have somebody stayin' with you, tonight, M.

Michelle: I can find somebody. I just need you guys to stay out of this, until, this is all over.

Sophina: We're not gonna let you slip through our fingers again, M. It's all of us or nothin', hon.

Michelle: Kelly can stay with us. Come on, baby, let's go.

They walked out of the house and towards Kelly's car.

Patrick: Take care of her, bro.

Kelly: I will.

He walked out of the house and got in his car. They drove away and pulled up to a grocery store.

Michelle: Can you stay in the car, please? We're not gonna be gone for long, I promise.

Kelly: Okay, I trust you this time.

Michelle: Come on, baby, come on.

They got out of the car and went inside the grocery store. Viktoriya grabbed Michelle's hand and held onto it. 

Viktoriya: So, what're we gonna get?

Michelle: Snacks, real food, the works.

Jayceon Terrell Taylor a.k.a. Game was walking down an aisle listening to them and he got beside Michelle.

Game: Michelle?

They looked at each other.

Michelle: Jayceon?

Game: Yeah, girl, I thought you were dead. I heard about what happened.

They hugged each other and she put her forehead against his.

Michelle: I thought you were dead.

Game: I was never dead, babygirl. You still lookin' beautiful and gorgeous as ever.

Michelle: Um, Game, this is my daughter, Viktoriya, and Viktoriya, this is Game. He can be your uncle if you let him.

Viktoriya (shyly): Hi.

Michelle: She's shy.

She kissed Viktoriya's head and moved her hair out of her face. Viktoriya shook Game's hand.

Game: She's shy just like you and she got the same features as you, too. Your mom always told me that if she ever had a daughter that one of the names she would call her daughter is Viktoriya because the baby was victorious for comin' out of her womb alive and that herself won the victory of havin' a baby that she could call her own. How old are you?

Viktoriya: 15, you're not one of the men who's gonna hurt my mom, are you?

Game: No, I'm one of the men that's gonna protect your mom. Who's protectin' you, M?

Michelle: Numerous people like B5 and the rest of my friends and family. It's a scary situation. It's like I've got an army behind me or somethin'.

Viktoriya: Mom, can I go get some groceries for myself, please?

Michelle: Yeah, sweetie, go ahead. I'll meet up with you.

Viktoriya left and Game moved Michelle's hair out of her face playfully. He got really close to her.

Game: Those lips, God, I really missed'em.

He gave her a long kiss and started kissing her.

Michelle: I can't do that, Game, I'm sorry. I'm still sore from the plane crash.

Game: It's okay, so, I'll see ya around?

Michelle: Yeah.

He gave her a kiss and they hugged each other. After she got finish shopping, her and Viktoriya got in the car and drove away. Game watched him go with a mean look on his face and Kelly looked at him before he drove away.
