Asante took out her gun and cocked it slowly. She threw a stack of money on the table beside him and it was $5,000.
Asante: You drive a hard bargain, there's 5Gs right beside you, if you do this, you ain't gotta get your big money in a year, you can get it, now.
Ricky: No can do, A, I don't do it for the money anymore, either.
Asante laughed dryly and got beside him. She put the gun to his head.
Asante: Well, maybe, you'll do it for this.
Carnell: Oh, shit!
Everybody backed away except for Asante.
Elizabeth (getting scared): Asante, put the gun down, please.
Asante: Take one more step to him, and I'll put a bullet through his head, now, every day we've been sittin' here, waitin' for the cops to tell us somethin' new about M, but it's been the same ol' shit, and now, we hear that she's been in a plane crash, she's gotta fuckin' child to look after, I am not about to wait another day for her to come back here to us, so, if you're our friend, then, you better start actin' like it, but if not, and you wanna act like a dead man, then, so be it!
Ricky (getting scared): All right, I'll do it, I'll do it, just, just put the gun away.
Asante: If you start playin' games with me, I'm gonna kill you right in front of everybody, cause, right now, I'm fuckin' pissed the hell off!
Ricky: I'm not playin' with you, A.
Asante: Good, I'll keep this out, just in case, make sure he starts locatin' her ass, I'll be right back, I gotta go check on my niece.
Asante walked away and Ricky got on his computer. A few hours later, he found Michelle.
Ricky: She's here, she's two blocks away from us.
