Chapter 3: The news

Elizabeth turned on the TV and Evonne walked back into the living room. The news came on about the plane crash and they watched it.

Sharika: Hello, my name's Sharika Mullis with the Atlanta News, just about two hours ago, Flight 804 crashed into a tower-like buildin', Flight 804 was headin' towards Atlanta, Georgia, until, massive damage was done, there were few survivors that lived, but had internal injuries while the rest of'em died, 18-year-old Michelle Melindez was on that flight, she was on the run from her stalkers, as they said, and she wasn't comin' back home, but apparently, she changed her mind, and decided to come, anyways, Michelle was on the phone with a friend, and then, on the walkie- talkie with Manny Hernandez, a lieutenant of the Emergency Air Force when the incident started happenin', the body of Michelle Melindez has not been found, yet, but there was evidence of her being there like her fingerprints on the walkie-talkie, two seats, her cellphone, and her blood, here with me, now, is Lieutenant Manny Hernandez.

Manny: We're here with the plane, and whenever I got the call from Michelle Melindez, I was shocked because nobody hasn't heard from this young woman in weeks, so, once I heard how scared she was, I had to tell her to calm down, cause, she was panickin', and cryin' at the same time, she was confused, she didn't know what to do except call for help, which is, what she did, I have to say that this young woman was extremely brave for what she did, and for that, I thank her for tryna save those people that was on the flight with her, I hope we can find her, soon, and I hope she's not dead, to Michelle's friends and family, I believe that she's still out there, that she's alive, and she's comin' home, don't give up findin' her, have faith, and pray.

They played the conversation between Michelle and Manny and the camera went back to Sharika.

Sharika: That was the conversation between Michelle and Manny before the plane crash happened, three men wearin' black ninja outfits were spotted followin' Michelle to her flight, and she didn't know it, one of the men spiked the pilot's drink, and the other one loosened the propellers on the plane, before anybody could do anything, it was too late, the plane was flyin' off, if you have any idea who these three guys in the ninja outfits, please, call the authorities, I'm Sharika Mullis, you guys have a good day.

The news went off and Elizabeth cut the TV off. It was storming outside.

Kelly: Ricky, we need your help, man.

Ricky: I can't do it.
