She sat alone, the world slowly revolving around her. She sat with a gloomy frown across her face. Children surrounded her and played, yelling and laughing in excitement. She shuffled her hands across her arms, trying to gain warmth. The air could be seen leaving her lips as she inhaled and exhaled.
Her tears had long dried. She was hurt. But the injuries couldn't be seen. They were eternal. Her heart was hurting. Her insides were hurting. She felt dead. She felt like she was nothing. She had nothing else to live for.
She looked around in the small playground. The children were leaving to their parents, heading home after a long day. She kept sitting on the bench though, her body shaking as she shivered.
It was cliche, she knew it too. She just couldn't believe it could happen to her though. She was dumped out and left into the streets as if she was trash. Well she wasn't actually dumped into the streets. She had a home, but the person she was suppose to meet up with just left her there.
People these days are so rude.
She began to pick at the park bench, her air drawing from her lips as she studied the metal. Then she noticed something. A number. She stared at it, wrapping her head around why someone would leave their number for someone to find.
She shrugged before getting out her own phone, plugging in the number. She had nothing to lose for it. She stared at her phone before sending her message to the number.
Hello...?
