Chapter 9:

CC:

I woke up to Xena scratching and trying to get out of the door. I looked around, realizing I was still by the window, and Sam was gone. Usually she would have woke me up, telling me to go get in bed with her. I went into the room where we usually slept on the bus, to find an empty bed. "Sam?" I called. No answer, but I did wake the others up.

"What's going on CC?" Juliet asked.

"Sam's gone!" I shrieked.

"Calm down, maybe she just went for a walk." she said.

"No. She wouldn't have left without Xena and without leaving me a not or telling me she's going somewhere." I answered, starting to hyperventilate. Ash walked out.

"What's wrong with him?" he groaned, crossing his arms and leaning in the doorway.

"Sam's gone, and he's freaking out because he doesn't know where she is." Juliet explained. Ash's facial expressions changed from tired and confused to I'm wide awake and worried. He hooked up Xena and bolted out the door with her. We all followed, splitting up and checking the area.

Sam:

I woke up in a cold, dark room, the floor was concrete, and it was silent. I seen a bright light come from a window on the far left wall. I got up from the floor and went to it. There was nothing but fields on the other side. I spun around as the door opened behind me. In came a dark figure, that came towards me. The sound of heels against the hard floor was the only noise at this point. The dark figure squatted beside me. "Must be hard knowing your best friend and dad are fighting because of you." the voice laughed. The voice could be made out as a muffled female voice. "So this is why I took you away. So they can stop fighting and CC can move on." she continued. I stayed silent. Whoever kidnapped me, she knew CC and my dad. She stood back up and went to the window.

"Who...Who are you?" I questioned. I heard a soft laugh then a gasp.

"You're funny. You act as if you have no idea who I am. You took him from me you stupid bitch. CC is mine and now that you're here, I can make that happen." and with that she left, locking me in the dark room again. Who did I take CC from... then it came to me like a smack in the face. Grace.

"Grace you bitch! I didn't steal him from you! HE never liked you!" I screamed, "Have fun trying to win him over!" I went to the window and pulled out my phone, I had one bar and it didn't stay, it kept popping in and out. Slid down the wall texting CC where I was and what had happened. I hit send, hoping it would go through, but it failed. I must have tried over a thousand times before it sent. Hours had passed and my phone had died, so I had no idea if CC had gotten my text. I curled up in a ball on the floor and tried to get some sleep, praying he received it and was on his way.

CC:

My phone buzzed, I had received a text from Sam. She was locked in a dark and cold room, with fields all around it. She said that Grace had kidnapped her and was holding her hostage to get to me. I tried calling her, but no answer. I texted her and again, no answer. I told the others and we all headed to Grace's, but no one was there. I had no idea where my future girlfriend is. Ash looked like he was having a worse time than me. Well of course, Sam was his daughter. Without her he had no biological family left. We were his family, but not by marriage or blood. We were his family through loyalty and friendship, our closeness made us family. I went up to him and sat next to him, he just looked away from me. "Ash...family doesn't turn their back on family. I know you're mad at me, but I don't want to hurt you or Sam anymore. I want to find her as much as you do." I said, then got up and walked away.

"CC wait." he said, "I'm only acting like a dick to you because you're flirting and starting a relationship with my daughter. Being a dad, I guess it feels like saying goodbye, and I don't want to. She's the only family I have left and I'm trying everything in my power not to let anything happen to her and I'm failing. She's already tried killing herself, she's been kidnapped. It's my fault she's gone, if I wouldn't have attacked you, neither of you would have went back to the bus, and she wouldn't have been kidnapped."

I looked at him and sighed, "I guess i'm to blame as well. If I wouldn't have fell asleep, I would have realized they came in, and they wouldn't have taken her." Ash pulled me into a hug, taking me by surprise. I patted his back and let go.

"We have to work together to get her home." he said and I nodded. The others sat with us and we all sat in a circle on the floor, talking about cancelling the tour. Moments later I went live.

"Hey bvb army, we need your help!" I started, "Sam has gone missing, in case you're wondering who Sam is, it's Ashley's daughter and my best friend. All we know about where she is is that she is locked in a dark and cold concrete room and it's surrounded by fields. If you could help us out with any ideas or information please contact us immediately!" And with that, I ended the video. Ash just looked at me and all we could do was wait.
