Chapter 18

Time Skip 

(Three weeks later)

(Alannah POV)

Theodore and I agreed that we would try a relationship as long as I didn't criticize him about his work and he didn't criticize me for how I lived. Tonight Theodore was coming over to my house for movie night. I was making dinar when I heard the door open. 

I felt arms wrap around me and lips kiss my neck lightly. Okay Ill have to admit that dating Theodore Hast was probably the best decision I made. Even though his life is stressful and so isn't mine we are like two peas in a pod. 

"You smell heavenly " Theodore murmurs next to my ear sending shivers down my spine. I turned my neck as he continued to kiss the sensitive skin there. I smirked as I continued to stir the Chicken Alfredo in the pot. 

"Are you sure its me? I am standing over a pot of Delicious food." I felt a smile grow on his lips as he chuckled softly.

"Thats what it is. I was starting to wonder why you smelt like chicken. Mouth watering makes me want to EAT you." He nibbles my neck as I gasp and giggle swatting him with an oven mitt as he laughed a carefree laugh. 

He moved away and sighed as he sat at the kitchen table watching me. 

"So how was work?" I asked glancing towards him as he rubbed his face. 

"Long and boring. I filled out at least 26 different transcripts and as for Mr.Hoyt he is all over my case trying to get me to branch out to his Banks." He explained. I shook my head and glanced towards him as I put a lid on the pot and turned towards him. 

"I thought Mr.Hoyt was out of the picture after Miss Ganders..." I murmured as I walked over to him. "Alannah its complicated. Plus its good money if I accept his offer." He continued to explain as he reached his arms out wrapping them around me and pulling me to him. He nuzzles my stomach as my hands instantly go to his hair and stroke lightly. 

"I don't want to talk about work." He glances up at me and smiles. "I actually want to watch a horror movie with you tonight. There was this really good one in the box office and..." My face slowly paled as I looked down at him with wide eyes. "Why are you giving me that look?" He asked as i shook my head. 

Realization finally hit him as a slow snarky smile grew upon his lips. "Alannah are you... AFRAID of horror movies?" A blush slowly crept across my face as I looked down at him. "You so are." 

"Shut up..." I snapped and tried pulling away from him as his arms quickly tightened around me. "Now Lannah you have nothing to be afraid of." 

"Says you! You didn't grow up living in a complete horror movie, prequel and sequel. " I snapped as he pulled me to him and kissed me long and hard. As he broke the kiss I gasped for air and he smirked. "Im really going to enjoy movie night tonight. So close to Halloween and all." He murmured and I smirked unable to resist him. I try and fight it but I just can't. I love Theodore but haven't been able to tell him yet. 

Pulling away from him I attended to the food and made us both a plate. 

As I sat down I started to dig in and looked up at him as he chowed down. "Actually I have a plan for Halloween, I wanted to dress up and go out." I murmured as he stopped eating and looked at me. "Dress up?" He asked as I nodded. Im a big kid on the inside and I always loved to paint my face up. 

Slowly he nodded. "Alright we can go out." He began "Only if we can have a couples outfit." 

I smiled at his response and nodded. 

This relationship is so well worth it.
