Rap Monster: Return The Kiss

He was back in your life. The guy that at one point in your life were in love with. And at another point hated so much and felt scared of each time you saw his presence.

Flashback
"Ha how pathetic" your best friend said in the hallway with his friends laughing at the fact that he rejected you.

You stood there shocked. You never thought he could be so cruel until he started hanging out with that crowd of the school.

He left you alone and as if it couldn't get worse he would pick on you each day. You started hating him but thankfully it was your last year of high school and that's all you had to get through.

Present
You looked at the letter and laughed. "High school reunion?" You said out loud. It was three years later and your life was everything you could imagine. You were studying business and your parents helped you out starting out a little business which was doing great.

You stood in the living room of the penthouse you and your best friend shared. She was watching YouTube and looked up from her phone. "Reunion? Sounds interesting you should go" she said smiling.

You looked at her in confusion. You had never told anyone about the past, wanting to forget everything about it. And you didn't remember telling her.

As if reading your mind she laughed "We got drunk one night at the club. You started spilling everything about that asshole of a best friend. I might've been drunk but I actually remember" she said making you surprised.

You shook your head not wanting to think of seeing him. "I don't want to remember the past" you said throwing the letter in the trash. Your friend got the letter from the trash and handed it to you "Please just go... then you can show him what he missed out on. I mean look at you now, doesn't revenge sound nice" she said smirking.

You walked up to your room and she shouted "He can't get away with what he did Y/n" you felt a tear roll down your cheek and you quickly dried it.

You really didn't want to remember the past but your friend was right. You couldn't let him get away with it.

A Week Later, The Reunion
You stood in front of the school. You were scared but hid it well.

You walked into the high school and saw people that didn't change at all. Somebody tapped your shoulder making you turn around "Excuse me, just trying to get some punch" he said smiling. You nodded and went to the side.

You looked at him one more time realizing he looked similar to your best friend from high school. He looked up and smiled at you "Oh right I didn't introduce myself, my name is Namjoon nice to meet you" he said taking you by surprise.

It was him. You realized you hadn't said anything and quickly snapped back into reality "Hi, my names
Is... Y/n" you said hesitant. You weren't sure if you wanted to tell him your name but you ended up doing so.

He nodded and then you relaxed realizing he really didn't recognize you. "So, do you see any of your friends here?" you asked suddenly having the courage to talk.

He shook his head slowly looking at the floor "Nah... well the people I hanged out with weren't really my friends in the first place" he said letting out a forced laugh.

You didn't understand what he was talking about, he was clearly always happy with his group. You started to feel bad for him but quickly let those emotions go.

He didn't deserve anything from you anymore. After a while of taking you started talking about different things. It was like when you two used to be best friends. You missed all those laughs you had with him.
