Jun Hoseok. All girls new his name. Not in a good way though. He was a player. He wasn't ever rude to the kids at your school. But the thing you hated about him was the fact that he would use his looks to get around. And would always sweet talk the girls. Thankfully you could listen to music in the class you shared with Hoseok not having to pay attention to him attempt to talk to you.
He would occasionally turn around to try and talk to you but you acted as if you couldn't hear him and it always worked.
Sadly today though you forget your earbuds at home today. You finished your work quickly and put your head down so you could nap and not to hear all the girls which talked as loud as they could.
"You look nice with your skirt" Hoseok said to you. You didn't look up and just said a 'thank you' not trying to fall for his ways. He was attractive you couldn't deny that but what would be so amazing about dating a guy like him which never actually cared about the girl they dated.
"You'll eventually have to start to talk to me Y/n" he whispered as he turned back around to actually act as if he was paying attention to the lesson. You sat up and tried to comprehend what he was talking about. "What do you mean?" you whispered.
He shrugged and and turned around signaling you to be quite. You scoffed angry at the fact that know you were trying to talk to him. The tables turned but you needed to know what exactly he was implying with what he said.
The class ended and Hoseok quickly left the classroom. You caught up to him and tapped his shoulder "What? Can't you see I'm trying to get somewhere?" he said walking off. Leaving the school, probably to skip. You rolled your eyes "What is he pissed off at me for. He's the one that started talking to me" you said under your breath.
You walked home and got to your house. As soon as you walked in your parents stood up from sitting on the sofa. They had a serious expression. Your mother handed you a dress "We need to go to a party" she simply said. "What do you mean. Why do I need to go to your business party's. I've never gone before. Why now?" you asked.
Your dad didn't even look at you but your mom smiled "We just thought it was time to change things up" she said. You nodded not really caring. It was probably going to be a basic party they went to. Party filled with upper class families.
You looked at the dress and it was beautiful but you thought it was a bit too much. Yet again you've never gone to one of the party's. So all you had to do was change into the dress your parents thought was appropriate

You did your hair and went downtairs. Your parents were dressed ready to go. Your dad with a silver tuxedo and your mom matching with a silver dress.
As soon as you got to the party you were feeling out of place people were looking at you. The girls weren't even wearing long dresses. They were wearing short sliver dresses. Way too feel welcomed. You were the only one with a different colored dress.
Your dad smiled at you and you felt safe. He kinda looked saddened though. As if he was hiding something but wasn't able to say anything about it. A couple came up with their son and smiled at you and your parents.
"It's been a long time since we last saw you Y/n. You've grown up to be such a beautiful lady" you thanked the woman as you looked at the floor since you were new to the party's. "Well... today is a really important day for you as you may know" she said. You looked at your parents in confusion and they looked at the family.
"We haven't told her yet" your dad said "Told me what?" you said quickly. "I'm sorry we've never told you but...you'll have to marry Jung Hoseok" your dad replied making you feel as if your whole world was crashing down on you. You then heard footsteps "I'm sorry for being late" his voice said you looked to your side and saw him next to his family.
He was wearing a red vest and bow tie with his tuxedo. He was the only other person wearing red. 'Was this an engagement party?' you though wanting to cry at the fact that you actually thought you had been invited to a business party. Instead of just stay at home alone. Thinking your parents actually started caring about you.
You bowed at Hoseok as he did the same. You weren't going to throw a fit. You couldn't not when the deed was already done. And everybody would see you.
Hoseok's dad raised a glass calling everybody's attention. "Today we have gathered all of you to celebrate the engagement of Y/n and Hoseok. We were so glad to know our son had fallen in love with such lovely lady..." you stopped listening to the speech and started spacing out.
'Fallen in love? What complete nonsense. You and Hoseok hadn't ever even had a full conversation. Of course that part wasn't his fault though' Hoseok grabbed your hand and you looked at him in confusion. He mouthed a sorry. You couldn't believe it. He knew about and didn't even tell you.
