Thank you all so much for hanging in there. I will gift you with the beauty of a commission my dear friend got me for my birthday. I hope you appreciate it as much as I.

It was extremely quiet after that. Neither she nor I made a move or uttered a word. Everything was still, we lay there completely frozen in that dimly lit room. Cam deciding on how to respond and I waiting in anticipation. For all I knew, I could have stopped breathing for those few minutes. I was that wrapped up in the moment that I had been waiting on for so long.

It was this moment here, where I was going to finally get an answer. Had it truly been me who drove Cam away or was it this other side of her? This secret she had held back for so many years allowing it to break the close bond we had shared throughout our childhood.

Unfortunately, if I wanted an answer I was not going to get it now. I could hear my cousin's soft snores from across the room. I quietly cursed her crazy ability of falling asleep in an instant. I thought of waking her but knew she would not answer until ready so begrudgingly, I rolled over and drifted off.

Not a shocking surprise but I did not sleep well that night. Which was why I found myself running along the forest trails at 4:30 in the freaking morning. It was cold. My legs were numb. The ground was slippery from the morning dew, which also meant that my shoes were soaked. To say the least, the run was not improving my mood like I had expected it to. Oh yeah and I still had no idea if my guess was the answer to my cousin's disappearance. The only possible uplifting thing was that the birds were also awake and chirping their little hearts out. It was kind of hard to be full on irritated when those little guys sounded so happy. I envied them. They never had to worry about secrets being kept from them.

As I ran out of the woods and rounded the corner of the barn I noticed the kitchen light on. Shoot, if it was Grandma Morgan, I was about to get a scolding for going out at night alone. I slowed to a jog as I neared the house and snuck around back in hopes of making a discrete entrance.

Tiptoeing inside, I heard a voice speak and panicked I froze. The voice was too young to be Grandma's and so I realized it was my Aunt. I thought maybe she was talking to herself until I heard another voice speak. Cam. There was no use trying to get passed those two so I started to make my way towards the kitchen when Cam's voice made me freeze. "Jordan knows."

Well I can admit that piqued my interest and so I remained in hiding, waiting for my Aunt to ask what Cam was talking about. To my surprise she asked how instead.

A chair scratched against the floor, was my cousin squirming? "Remember that game I told you about? The one we used to play?"

"Didn't you girls grow out of that?" was my Aunt Rachel's response.

"Well we never really had a chance since we left and I never saw her again. I thought she would have forgotten it. It was only supposed to be for fun. I thought she was kidding around like usual but she was dead serious."

My aunt sighed. "Did you give her an answer?"

"No. I fell asleep." Aunt Rachel must have given her a look because Cam added, "What? I'm still tired from Kiev."

I pondered for a second why my cousin would have been in the Ukraine, when I realized that oh yeah, it was probably because she was a spy.

"You're just going to have to come up with something else."
