Ross' POV

Ross: W-what do you mean?

Laura: I think you should be free to live your life. So, I'm setting you free. In other words, I'm sorry to say, but I'm breaking up with you.

Ross: no! Laura I love you and I always will!

Laura: I do too. You know what they say: if you really love someone set them free, and if they come back, then it was meant to be.

Laura's POV

I was about to cry. I had to let Ross go because it must be hard for him to live his life. I really don't want to do it, but I'm setting him free.

He hugged me. "Is this just as friends?" He said. The tears started coming from my eyes. "Yeah. Just as friends." We stayed like that for 2 minutes, then he pulled out, went to the doorway, looked at me one last time, then shut the door.
