One Last Dance

Ross' POV

Maia and I have been dating for 3 weeks. I haven't thought about Laura just once. Oh wait, Laura! I was supposed to pick her up from the hospital two hours ago!

R: Maia, I have to go pick up Laura.

M: k, can I come with you?

R: of course!

I wrapped my arm around Maia's waist and we walked outside.

I drove to the hospital. I looked around for Laura, and she wasn't there.

Laura's POV

I waited TWO HOURS for Ross and he never came. Good thing Riker gave me his number!

Riker picked me up in his car as soon as I saw Ross' car pull in. I got in Riker's car and said to go kinda fast cause I wanted to avoid Ross.

R: why do you want to avoid Ross? I thought you guys were dating.

L: I broke up with him. He's dating Maia.

Riker stopped the car. At a green light. L: Riker, it's a green light

R: oh, I was just kind of- shocked. Anyway, MAIA?! Doesn't he know she's a little she-devil?

L: you really don't know her. She's actually really nice! We were, and still are, best friends.

R: Ooookay

He pulled into my driveway.

L: Thanks for doing this Riker.

R: no problem.

Without thinking, I kissed him on the cheek. Surprised myself, I just said bye and shut the car door.

Riker's POV

Laura Marano kissed me. I don't know why, but I kind of..felt a spark.

Laura's POV

I am freaking out! I felt a spark when I kissed Riker!
