Harsh breaths escaped from his mouth, passersby throwing him odd glances, the soles of his shoes on the concrete were indistinct thuds in his ears as he ran. Images of a honey colored haired girl streaked through his mind. Ho Seok gritted his teeth and ignored the cries of his legs.

The shortcut to the Son's residence caught his sight. He quickened his pace, making a bee line towards it. As he was about to turn the corner, a flash of blue green and white crashed into him before either of them could shout a warning. They both yelped, dropping to the ground.

"I'm so sorry, ahjussi-- Ho Seok?!"

"Wendy!?"

She began asking questions that fell deaf to his ears as he stared at her. He was feeling lightheaded, maybe because of the fall he hit his head. Or maybe it was because of the pain of his airway tightening with his chest. The adrenaline evaporated from his veins, the anxiety and fear he held back poured out of his eyes in hot, salty tears.

Wendy froze at the sight, hitching a breath that squeezed her heart. She uttered his name and before the words slide off her lips, he silenced her with a kiss. Her eyes widen, his left arm was around her waist while his right hand held the back of her head. Trapping her. The tears streaming from his closed eyes made hers stung.

Ho Seok moved his lips, gently cautious. Wendy's eyes fluttered shut, responding to his kiss. Their subconscious reminded them where they were, but they didn't care. Why would anything matter right now? That's what they both thought as their lips danced. Until a light flashed and they heard familiar voices, they were unsure of how long they were on the concrete displaying public affection.

"Babo! Turn off the flash!"

"Are you my boss? Stop yelling at me, you little sh--"

"Yoon Gi! Je Bin! Knock it off!" Irene and Jin barked at the two, who looked like they were scolded by their mother.

Wendy shuffled to her feet, Ho Seok gave a rasped cry when her knee hit the spot. Yoon Gi laughed at that while Jin and Nam Joon tried not to when Irene threw them a glare. They were in a maroon SUV CR-V. Je Bin was at the driver's seat, Yoon Gi at the passenger seat. On the backseat were Irene, Seul Gi, and Jin. On the back of the backseat were Nam Joon and Rae Ki.

"What are you all doing here?" Wendy inquired.

"We came to get you." Seul Gi answered.

Her brows furrowed, questioning. "Huh? Why?"

Nam Joon's head popped into view from the back. "Ho Seok texted us that you were leaving."

They all turned to the guy still writhing on the sidewalk. He ceased, meeting their gazes. "Y-you weren't with your squad so I-I thought your parents took you away." Ho Seok avoided Wendy's eyes, "We called and texted you but you weren't answering nor replying."

Fear and pain etched his face, guilt pricked her heart. She bent her knees and offered her hand to him. Glancing at it before looking into her eyes, Ho Seok accepted her hand and she helped him to his feet. Wendy smiled apologetically, Ho Seok shrugged with a simper. Vaguely unaware that their fingers were entwined.

Je Bin groaned. "Oh, for the love of God.." And punched the horn twice.

The honk punctured the bubble Ho Seok and Wendy were in. Je Bin pressed something and the rear door popped open, the two quickly climbed in. Before they could pull down the door, tires screeched and the car lurched forward. Sending the ones at the back, who weren't buckled up, toppling over the other.

Rae Ki immediately escaped the pile and yanked the rear door down, closing then locking it. She glared at the driver through the rearview mirror. "Je Binnie pabo!"
