CHAPTER XII ¦Vacation¦

"What are you doing here??!!" Two voices shrieked.

"Hey!! I asked you first!!"

The owners of the voices pointed at the other in unison. "Stop that!! Don't-- stop copying what I say!! Argh!!"

"Woah, you two know each other?" Yoon Gi inquired, stifling a smirk.

They snapped to him. "No!!" And glared at the other.

"Unnie, is he the annoying guy you always tell me about?" Je Bin asked Je Hye.

"Ohoho~ so you tell me on your little sister, huh?"

"As if you don't talk about her to me."

"Yoon Gi!"

"What a small world," Seul Gi sighed.

"Nervous that you're hosting this fine vacation?" Jin chuckled.

"Of course, I am! I mean, if it was just the fourteen of us..." She trailed off, giving him a 'you know what I mean' look.

He couldn't help but smile. "Well, you were too kind and suggested our family can come."

"Or more like she wanted to get rid of the tickets." Ji Min said and smirked at her glare.

"Oppas, unnie!" The three looked at Yeri, "Nam Joon oppa and Rae Ki unnie can't get close to each other because of her parents."

They searched for the subject of the matter and found them. Nam Joon was three feet away with his parents from Rae Ki, her little sister, and their parents. "He began courting her since this school year started." Jin whispered, letting Yeri and Jung Kook go to talk to Rae Ki's little sister.

"Jinja?!" Seul Gi successfully lowered her voice and grimaced, thinking. 'Why didn't they tell me?'

"But everyone else thinks that they're dating," Ji Min said in a hushed tone. "By everyone else, I mean the whole school. And also the rappers from Rap Battle."

"The rappers know who Rae Ki is?!" Seul Gi shouted in a whisper.

"No, only Jooheon. The others still know her as Ki." Ho Seok shook his head, suddenly beside Ji Min.

"And Jooheon's also courting Rae Ki too." Joy proclaimed.

Ji Min frowned. "You don't know that."

"What doesn't Joy know?"

"That you are caught in a love triangle--"

"Ji Min!!!"

Rae Ki chuckled when they glared at the boy. She felt a presence beside her and turned, Nam Joon looked to her. They both averted their gaze, awkwardly-- reluctantly-- stepping away from the other. The others exchanged looks at the display from the duo. They stayed quiet for a while, until Rae Ki noticed this and decided to break the awkward tensed silence when her phone did it for her.

Ho Seok sucked air through his teeth. ".... Is Jooheon dating Ki?"

Seul Gi, Jin, Ji Min, and Joy exclaimed at Ho Seok's blunt question, giving him a wide eyed glare. "What did he do now?" Wendy and Ho Seok's big sister asked in unison, the former smiled at the latter then walked from Nari Seok to them. Nari Seok was surprised when Je Hye popped out beside her and began talking.
