Chapter 2- Weeks past

We walked out onto the street nodding to the bouncer at the club who was also a hunter, we climbed into the back of our car as our father sped of. "The other hunters will despose of the bodies, your money has gone into your cards. You will just have to wait for another mission" my father said not taking his eyes away from the road.

The trip was long and silent as we made our way back home, we made it back home at sunrise. "I have a message from the hunters organization"

Chapter 2;
"What does it say mother?" Matilda asks as we enter the house.

"Well good news and bad news" mother says with a worried look plastered across her face.

"How did they know that we already completed the mission, we just did it not to long ago" Saffron asked confusion obvious in her voice

"Easy Saff, the bouncer knows we did it. The hunters cleaned it up and it took an hour" Matilda said making her less confused.

"The good news is that they are proud you took down both of them in one night. The bad news is they aren't so happy how you left things" mother said shaking her head when she told us the bad news.

"Oh yea that, well they were meant to clean it up so it should be fine" I said giggling trying not to burst out laughing at the sight of the place when we left. Blood everywhere, their heads and bodies alone the walls. It was funny because they deserved to die, all leaches deserve to die.

"Shut up Regan!"

"Make me Saffron!"

"Come on then, I can take you any day!"

"Right here, right now!"

"Both of you shut up!" Matilda yelled the tiredness showing in her eyes and her face. We stopped and looked back at our mother who was shaking her head at us in disappointment, we have always been like this. We are close but we fight a lot its normally Saffron and I seeing Matilda is the peacemaker, and may I add always on my side. Father and mother told us that the organization wasn't happy about our mess but there was no punishment seeing they have cleaners and we are beginners.

1 week later~
Nothing has happened this past week, mother and father told us to clean out weapons and that our brother Lucas was out on a long mission that we would do one day, which I am slightly looking forward to. For some weird reason mother has begun acting very strange, so has father but he hides his strange behavior better.

I've tried talking to her but she just nudges it off and starts a new conversation which is not like her, we have also begun hiding weapons around the house except for out in the open which is also weird. I wonder what is going on? The strange behavior has only started in the last few days and my sisters have noticed it also. But we have no idea what to do, maybe a meeting but still no idea?

We haven't been trained for situations this simple, we were trained for life or death situations not this wimpy stuff. That's normally Lucas's job or Matilda's but as for Lucas be don't know where he is and for Matilda she is stumped, great. "Regan your father wants you in his office" my mother said as she slipped into my room without knocking, just rude.

"Yes mother I'm coming, you know there is such a thing called knocking right?" I said in a sarcastic tone slipping past her in the doorway and walking to my fathers office, I wonder what he wants.

Can you please shut up? Saffron snaps in my head obviously reading my thoughts

Can you please stay the fuck out of my head! I screamed at her trying to block her out as much as I could as I reached for the doorknob that led to my fathers office, I took a deep breath and opened the door to see my father grinning at me looking up from his paperwork.
