4. AM; ARE; IS
We use ending ~이에요 (i-ye-yo) or
~예요 (ye-yo) when we want tk say who someone is.In English, you have to change the verb 'to be' depending on who you are talking about. For example "I am...", "You are...", "She is...", "They are...".
However, in Korean, the change is dependent on the last letter of the person's nam, if it's a vowel or consonant.
•If the noun ends in a vowel: ~예요 (ye-yo)
→ 저는 김민서예요. Jeo neun Kim Min Seo-ye-yo. I am Minseo Kim.
•If the noun ends in consonant: ~이에요 (i-ye-yo)
→ 저는 김민석이에요. Jeo neun Kim Min Seok-iyeyo. I am Minseok Kim.
***Noun + ~이에요 (i-ye-yo/ye-yo). ▶Polite
***Noun + ~이야 (i-ya). ▶Casual
***Noun + ~입니다 (imnida). ▶Formal5. KOREAN NAMES
Korean names consist of a family name followed by a given name.
Common Korean family names:
김 Kim
이 Yi
박 Pak
최 Choe
정 Jeong
조 Cho
장 Jang
송 Song
한 Han
유 Yu
강 Kang
흥 Hong
윤 Hun
신 Sin (pronounced as Shin)I won't give examples, I know you already know Korean names. ;)

A. Annyeonghaseyo?▶How do you do?
(Name)-imnida.▶I'm (name).
Choe-eum boep get seum ni da.▶I'm pleased to meet you.

Man na seo ban gap seum ni da. ▶Glad to meet you.

6. SAYING GOODBYE
There are two kinds of saying goodbye in Korean, don't be confused fellas...
1. When saying goodbye to one who is leaving:
♥안녕히 가세요. Annyeonghi kaseyo. Honorific
♥인녕히 가십시오. Annyeonghi gasipsio. Honorific, Formal
♥잘가. Jalga. Casual
When saying goodbye to one who is staying:
♥ 안녕히 계세요. Annyeonghi gyeseyo. Honorific
♥ 안녕히 계십시오. Annyeonghi gyesipsio. Honorific, Formal
♥잘 있어. Jal itseo(read as Jal-i-seo). Casual
*Close friends who are young will just say 안녕 (annyeong) in both instances.
