Holly Would You Turn Me On? (Alex Gaskarth)

5: Band Practice

Holly's POV:

I smile and place my lips on his, not as rough as a few minutes ago. It was sweet and sincere and filled with sparks. He places his hand behind my neck and I put mine behind his gripping his hair. He pulls away and looks me in the eyes, his eyes were soft again. I lightly kiss his lips again and turn on the radio. We pull out of the bitches driveway and head into town and got something to eat. We head over to the local restaurant and get some breakfast/lunch.

Lucky for us today's special was chicken wings, both our favorite. We order 2 dozen and wait for the waitress to come back. It may be brunch but that won't stop us from ordering something that is something you eat around lunch. We sit on either side of the booth facing each other and throw our waded up straw wrappers at each other.

"You're perfect." Alex says randomly to me. I look down and blush, knowing I am the complete opposite. Alex grabs my hand and I look up into his soft eyes."I'm not lying, you're perfect for me." I smile, still not believing that I am "perfect". Thank god Alex dropped it since we are in public.

Finally she reappears with our food and sets it down on the table. As she walks away we dig into the wings. it's a good thing that I've known Alex for a while, since he knows how messy I am when I eat wings.

"You look like a baby dinosaur when you eat." he says laughing while chewing the meat. I stop eating to laugh along with him. It was our usual routine to go get wings together, no matter how much Tasha didn't like us being alone together that was something she had to deal with. I continue eating but keep my eyes on Alex; he is so handsome, even with his messy bed head. He's been my friend for all these years and now I can call him mine.

We finish eating and I pay for us, Alex didn't have a problem with it, we take turns paying and it just so happen to be my turn. Jack calls Alex and tells him that they were going to have a short band practice today to get ready for a gig that their friend Matt booked for them, Jack has good timing. We drive over to Jacks for band practice. We get out of the car and immediately his finger were interlocked with mine as we walk into Jack's house. His mom says he was in the basement so we head down and he's playing guitar jumping around, go figures that boy can not stand still while playing ever.

"Hey guys, oh! So I guess you took your chance. Thank god, it's about time you two love birds got together. And now Tasha is gone! Yay!"Jack says with a smile on his face and throwing his hands in the air. Guess he didn't like her, I don't blame him. He sets his guitar on his stand and joins us.

"Yeah I did. Thanks Jacko." Alex slaps his shoulder and Jack nods and hands Alex his guitar.

"I called the guys, they are coming over sooner or later for practice. For now we can just hang out."

"Cool." Alex says strumming his fingers over the strings on his guitar. I take my normal spot on the couch, I always watch the guys practice. Alex sets his guitar down and after a few funny minutes of rough-housing he sits beside me and puts his arm over my shoulder, then Jack put his around Alex. Their bromance is so cute, it never bothers me but it bothered Tasha to no end.

"Hey! Back off my man!" I say laughing, wrapping my arms around Alex's waist and pulling him into me.

"Oh hell no, he's mine!" Jack says in a sassy tone, wrapping his arms around his waist pulling him towards himself.

"But you can't do this!" I place my lips on Alex's and he flicks my bottom lip with his tongue. I open my mouth and our tongues dance in sync, there was constant sparks numbing my mouth.

"Well I can do that, but I'm not gay!" Jack gives up and let's go of Alex, he blows Jack a kiss and they both erupt in laughter. Alex pulls me on to his lap and wraps his arms around my waist and holds me against his body. I feel so safe with his arms around me, nothing can hurt me. I lean back and just relax in his arms.

"Jack you need a girlfriend so we can go on a double date." Alex says to Jack.

"Psh I can get any girl I want! Have you seen me? I'm hot." Oh my Jack.

"We'll yes of course you're hot. Bring one of your lucky ladies sometime."

"Will do."

Rian and Zack walk downstairs and Zack's smile fades as soon as he sees Alex and I on the couch. Oops, sorry Zack. During their practice I listen to Alex's beautiful voice sing and Zack's. He might not be happy with me but that boy has a great voice. When it was just Alex and I, I would sing with him but I refuse to sing around the guys and he never pressures me to. I'm always so nervous that they will make fun of me. Today I feel ballsy though. Alex was signing Lullabies and I thought I'd join in with him. I stand up and walk over to him.

"Sing me to sleep, I'll see you in my dreams,

waiting to say, "I miss you. I'm so sorry."

Forever's never seemed so long as when you're not around

it's like a piece of me is missing.

I could have learned so much from you but what's left now?

Don't you realize you shot this family a world of pain?

Can't you see there should have been a happy ending we let go?"

Alex looks at me amazed and I stop and he continues. I was blushing like a crazy woman.

Alex's POV:

I can't believe she sang right in front of the guys. After the song I hurriedly take my guitar off and grab her by the waist and spin her in circles.

"You sang in front of them! You did it! You sounded so good!" She crashes her lips to mine shutting me up. I love the feeling of her lips against mine, her lips are intoxicating.

"Can we finish practice?" Rian asks awkwardly scratching at the back of his head and we pull apart and she starts to giggle. Damn she is adorable. I set her down and walk back over to where I was and start to sing again. After band practice is over we head over to Holly's for her to get some clothes. She would be staying at my house for a few days since we got the okay for it from my parents, now we need her moms. She will give us a yes, she knows we can't be separated for long.

"Hey mom I'm home." She calls and her mom appears with a wide smile.

"Hey Holly! Hey Alex!"

"Hey. I'll be right back I'm just getting some stuff out of my room." She says before she runs upstairs.

"Hey mom." I say to her and hug her. She basically was like a mom to me.

"Guess what!" I say to her with a smile.

"What sweetie?"

"Me and Holly are together." My smile widens just thinking about what rolled off my lips.

"Finally! I always knew you guys would be together. You guys were meant to be I can tell." She rubs my arm as Holly comes downstairs in different clothes and a bag in her hand.

"I'm going to stay at Alex's tonight again, is that okay mom? His parents allow and you know we won't do anything."

"That's fine honey, me and your dad still aren't on good terms. I'd rather you not have to be around it." She walks up to her mom and hugs her tightly then I do again.

"Bye mom! Love you!" She calls back to her mom.

"Bye! Love you too!" We walk out of her house and to the car.

So sorry if this chapter sucked. I had it pre-written when I had it in my notes on my iPod before I switched over to Wattpad, but I had to add more into it seeing that it was too short. I know I said all updates wouldn't be for a while but I have 2 snowdays in a row (that's what I get for living in Ohio) and I'm extremely bored. I haven't had school since Thursday because of the snow and below 0 weather.
