Hey guys! So SURPRISE! It's an update, just for you.

It's pretty late, so I did not re-read or edit this. And everything is made up, so don't sue me if the facts are wrong. I MADE THEM UP. Oops.

So, enjoy, eat cake, whatever it is you weirdos do. (No offense...) I'm going to bed now... I'm tired as.. As something that is extremely tired.

GOOD NIGHT LOS ANGELES.

-------

Niall practically dragged me back to our room after lunch.

I hadn't really wanted to leave the room, but everyone had to go back to their separate rooms for some 'quiet time'. I don't even know what they expected us to do. Play board games? Contemplate why people thought we were insane?

"Do you like all of my friends?" Niall asks, looking up at me.

"Yeah, they seem.... friendly enough." I was still upset on being tricked by the lad who had sat next to me. I know I should've expected it (because honestly, what kind of pills tasted nice?), but it was kind of a secret hope. Some day maybe someone will make nicely flavored pills.

"I think they like you too!" He cheered, running to his bed. He flopped onto it, stuffing his face into his pillow.

I took a seat on my bed, getting comfortable. "So.... What do we do?" I asked.

"Uh... Well," Niall sat up on his bed, wrapping the duvet around his shoulders. "Normally I take a nap, 'cause there's not much else to do, but now I have you! So, we could talk and get to know each other." He sent me a wide grin.

"Sure." I guess it would be a good idea, right? I mean, I do have to share a room with him for quite some time, it's not like my mum would be dragging me out of here anytime soon. And I don't want to end up with a roommate that hates me.

"So what's your favourite colour?" Niall asked.

"Hmmm... That's a tough one, mate." I smirked, rubbing my chin. "Lets go with green for now. What about you, favourite colour?"

"Rainbow colours!" Niall beamed. I laughed at his answer. "What king of animal do you like most?"

"Well, I like cats. But, they aren't very interesting really. Like platypuses (platapi?), they don't do much." Niall also laughed before telling me that today he preferred giraffes, but it would probably change by tomorrow. "How many siblings do you have?"

"Just one."

I smiled, "Cool, me too!"

"That's awesome!" Niall shifted around again, "What's your most favourite type of food, like, ever?" He asked.

"Uh...." I thought about it. "I don't know... Maybe pie?"

He nodded thoughtfully, "Yeah, pie. Pie is good. I guess I can live with that."

"What about you?" I asked.

"Don't ask me that!" He shouted angrily until his eyes teared up. "I can't decide." He sniffled tearfully as he shuffled deeper into his duvet.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you upset.... Please don't cry!" I felt helpless. I was just getting to know my new friend, and I had already upset him. I wanted to comfort him, to be a shoulder to cry on like the one I never had, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I was right next to Niall, sitting right next to him! And all my hands would do was hover over where they should be resting.

"Please don't cry. Ssh. It's okay! You don't have to choose a favorite food if you don't want to."

He looked up at me, tears still streaming down his face. "P-promise?"

"Y-yeah! Whatever you say. I don't mind if you don't choose."

"Thanks Harry." He whispered, tilting his head so it might rest on my shoulder, but I flinched and moved back slightly.

"W-what?" He looked hurt.

"I'm so sorry! I just can't... I can't- just- ugh!" I squeezed my eyes shut and clenched my fists. "I don't... Very well, it's- I..."

"Is that why you're here?" Niall asked softly, no longer in tears.

"U-um, yeah." I started fiddling with my hands, not able to look at him.

"You can tell me if you want to." He said, voice still hushed.

"I don't know how..." I said quietly.

"Anyway you want to. Even if it takes hours." I could almost hear his soft smile, encouraging me to talk. And I felt like I could.

"W-well, I, uh... I, like, don't like touching really. People really. And, I don't trust people that often, because I feel like they'll just hurt me somehow. My mum also says that I'm paranoid, but I don't think it's that bad. I'm just cautious, you know?" I looked up to Niall and he nodded his head in understanding. I sighed gratefully. "I think that's it, you'll probably find out other things thou, I know that lots of people talk behind my back. Everyone I know has, and the old doctor I used to see... Even my mum." I don't know when my eyes started to water, I just wiped them so I could see clearly again.

"You don't know this yet, but I think you can trust me, Harry." Niall said, smiling proudly.

I let out a little laugh, "Thanks, Niall.."

"And I would give you a hug, but I won't. I'll restrain myself for you."

"That means a lot." I sent him a smile. "You seem really nice, Niall. Why are you here?" I sent him a curious look.

He snorted, "It's nothing. People just tell me that I'm extremely loud and hyper and stuff, but what do they know, right? They say crazy, I say fun!" He laughed. "Don't tell the doctor I know," he whispered, shielding his mouth with his hand so it was quieter, "but I know that he tells the other docs that I'm bipolar. I don't know what it means yet, but I'm going to find out!" He giggled, covering his mouth entirely with his hands. "Then he'll be so surprised!" He fell backwards in a fit of laughter.

Well, I think I could handle that. He seems mostly happy all the time anyways, right? It does explain some of his moods though....

"We have some time left right?" I asked as he calmed down a bit. When he nodded, I sighed in relief. "Good, I need a nap or something." I said with a yawn. "I have no clue why I'm so knackered..." I shuffled my way over to my bed and plopped down.

"That sounds like a good idea! Night Harry!"

"Night Niall." I say as I pull the covers over myself.
