Laura's p.o.v
I told my aunt goodbye as I headed to airport security.
"I'm gonna miss you auntie" I told her.
"I'll miss you too, tell your mother I said hi" she said. "be safe!"
"I will make sure to do both" I told her with a smile. I was both nervous and excited. Nervous, because I was meeting my brother Shane. Excited, because Los Ángeles is a place where dreams come true.
"You don't seem to have any dangerous weapons in your bags, enjoy your flight" the security guard said.
I thanked him and walked to get my bags. I put it on the conveyor belt that takes cargo to another plane and I got on my plane. I walked inside and looked for my seat.
"2D" I said to myself. I found my seat and someone was sitting in it.
"umm, excuse me?" I said not trying to be rude.
He looked at me, when I saw who it was I had almost shit my pants. It was my idol, Ian Hecox. I was frozen.
"Can I help you?" he asked me.
"umm, you're in my seat" I said nervously.
"oh, I'm sorry" he said timidly. Did he like me? nah, besides he has a girlfriend.
"So how's Melanie?" I asked.
"Umm... I dont know, I haven't seen her since the break-up" he said with sadness. I touched his shoulder and he looked up at me.
"Well, she's an idiot if she let an amazing guy go" she said. He looked into my eyes.
"What's your name?" asked Ian.
"My name is Laura Yaw" I said, but then a realization had hit me. "Where's Anthony?" I asked.
"Right Here" he said as he walked up to me.
"Ma'am, you have to take your seat now" said a flight attendant. I looked around and there was a seat all the way in back. I was about to walk to the back when someone tugged my arm. I looked behind me. It was Ian.
"You can sit next to me" he said motioning to the seat next to him. I looked at Anthony for approval and he nodded in his seat. I happily sat down next to Ian.
"So what were you in Chicago for?" I asked.
"I don't know, Anthony had to come to do something and I came along but I mostly stayed in the hotel room" Ian said. "What are you going to LA for?"
"I'm going to go live with my mom after 15 years of not seeing her." I said.
"damn girl! how old are you?!" he asked me.
I giggled a little, "I'm twenty" I said.
"Who did you live with?" he asked.
"My aunt" I said
We heard a loud speaker say,"put on your seat belts we will depart in 5 minutes."
I buckled my seatbelt and looked at Ian.
"Are you nervous?" he asked me.
I looked at him.
"Yup" I said. He grabbed onto my hand and said,"It's gonna be okay, the plane ride is only a couple of hours."
I smiled up at him. "It's not about the plane ride, it's about meeting my brother." I said. He looked at me confused. "He doesn't know I exist." I said.
The rest of the plane ride was amazing. Ian didn't let go of my hand the whole time and I think Anthony noticed because next thing I know he was giving me a cheecky smile. I ended up falling asleep on his shoulder and when I woke up his head was on top of mine. After the plane ride I gave Ian my number and he gave me his number. We then both went our different ways.
I went to the airport entrance and saw Jerid. I ran up to him and hugged him. I gave him my bags. We got into the car.
"So mom said you are gonna stay in Shane's old room" he told me. I nodded. "Also, Shane is coming tomorrow to visit mom" he told me as I sighed. "What's wrong?" he asked me.
"I'm afraid of meeting Shane." I said looking out the window. I look at the car next to me and sitting there in the driver's seat, is my brother Shane.
"shitshitshit" I said.
"what?" asked Jerid as I leaned down on my seat. I pointed to the car next to me.
"shit" I heard him say.
I look at the traffic lights and it just got green. We drove away and I sat straight up in my seat and sighed in relief.
We got to my mom's house.
"Laura!" she said.
"Mommy" I said excited to see her after 15 years.
We hugged.
"I'm gonna go shower" I said, but as I walked in I realized, I didn't know anything about this place. "Where's Shane's old room?" I asked.
"I'll show you" Jerid told me. We walked into the room. He put down the bags I hugged him and he left. I grabbed my clothes and walked into the shower. When I came out I put on my converse and a Shane hoodie that my auntie got me for a present. I got a text from Ian

Sure, meet me there -Laura
I told my mom and walked to starbucks. I was turning the corner and saw a face I didn't wanna see till tomorrow. I walked and hid my face with my hoodie. Someone tapped on my shoulder. I looked back and thankfully it was Ian, but behind him was Shane.
"are you okay?" Ian asked me.
"yeah, I'm fine" I told him.
We ordered our coffee and sat down. Suddenly there was a tap on my shoulder. It couldn't be Ian because he was in the bathroom. I looked and I saw Shane.
"Hi" he said.
I decided against telling him and acted like a complete fangirl instead.
"Oh! My! God! IT'S SHANE DAWSON!" I screamed.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"it's Lau...ren" I said.
"nice to meet you Lauren" he said.
Ian came out of the bathroom. He saw me talking to Shane.
"Hey Lau-" I kissed his lips to make him shut up.
"We need to go" I said.
Shane looked at me weird as I dragged Ian outside. "What was that about?" he asked me when we got out.
"Remember how I told you I was nervous about meeting my brother?" I asked him.
"Yeah...It was him wasn't it?" he asked putting two and two together.
"Yup" I said.
"Do you wanna go out?" he asked me, I was shocked because the question was so sudden.
"sure, what time" I said.
"friday, 8pm?" he said.
"sure, that'll be nice" I said. I checked the time.
"I gotta go, see you on friday" I said.
"but I can't wait" he said.
"you'll be fine, it's only two days" I said. "bye" I kissed him on the cheek and walked away.
Today was a crazy day. I hope Shane likes me when he meets me.
