Laura's p.o.v
I woke up to a knock on Thursday morning. "Sweety, wake up!" I heard my mom.
"No!" I said.
"But your brother will be here in an hour!" She said.
"I'm not getting up, I wanna sleep!" I said.
"You are just like Shane" I hear her say as I drifted off to sleep. I woke up to a knock at the door then I heard Shane's voice. I quickly jumped out of bed and changed. after I was ready I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
"Shane! I'll get your fruit Lupe wig." I heard my mom. I ran into the closet and hid between the clothes.
I heard him come in the room. Then I remembered that his wig was purple and I looked around the closet. There in the corner of the closet was the fruit Lupe wig.
"This was my old room you guys! This is where all the magic happened before I moved in with Lisa." I heard him say.
"fuck, he's making a vlog, give me a break" I said panicking.
He opened the closet door and his eyes got wide.
"Lauren?!" he exclaimed.
"Hi" I waved awkwardly.
"Shane, I need to tell you something" my mom said. Shane looked at her expectantly. "You have a sister" she said.
"Who is it?!" he asked obviously shocked.
"umm... Hi?" I said, not knowing what to say.
"You're my sister?!" he said.
I slowly nodded.
"Mom, I gotta go" he said hugging my mom. He looked at me and shook his head. He walked out the door.
"Shane! Wai-" I got cut off by the door slamming shut. I ran to my room and started tearing up. My mom came in.
"Hi honey" she said.
"My own brother hates me" I said as a stream of hot tears went down my cheeks.
"He doesn't hate you honey" she told me.
"Do you know Shanna's phone number?" I asked her.
"Yeah, don't you have it?" she asked.
"I only have her old one" I said.
Mom gave me her phone number. I dialed it and she answered.
"Hello?" She said.
"Shanna?" I asked between sobs.
"Aww, Laurie what's wrong?" she asked.
"Ca-can you c-come over?" I asked her.
"I'll be right over" She said hanging up.
I cried and cried. I calmed down when Shanna got here. She hugged me.
"Are you okay?" She asked me.
"I'm better" I said.
Suddenly I got a call from Ian. I looked at Shanna and told her to shush. I answered.
"Hey Ian" I said. Shanna mouthed, put it on speaker. I did as she said.
"Hey, so I can't wait till tomorrow" he said. I blushed. Shanna put her hands on her heart and whispered aww.
"So how'd it go with Shane?" he asked.
"It went well, besides the fact he doesn't like me" I said.
