The Vampire and the Werewolf

Chapter 5

What did he just say? Oh my, I think he's in love with me! I mean, hey that's not bad thing I mean look at him. He's practically a diamond! Okay Amy, don't freak out. I mean I should but I shouldn't, just stay calm. There's this crazy werewolf that seems to be in love with you when vampires and werewolves are supposed to hate each other. Okay, I can't calm down now. I just stared at him with a confused look as he still has his arm around my waist and staring deeply into my blue eyes. I snap back into reality and say. "Um, can you take the chains off?" It looked as if he just now snapped back into reality as he nods his head quickly and unlocks the chain. "Henry's gonna get a beating when I see him again." I was shocked at his words. I mean yeah the sparks ran all the way up my body when he grabbed my waist, but is he really that in love with me? "Uh... thanks." I say to him. "Yeah, no problem." He says in his beautiful deep voice that just makes me want to fall to my knees and beg for him to let me stay here and just be with him and only him. But, I also have my parents. 'Speaking of which where are they?' I say in my head. He answers my question I said in my head, "They're perfectly fine." I was shocked for a moment as I remember that werewolves can read minds.

"Can you take me to them?" I ask in a shy tone. He chuckles and says, "You don't have to be so scared, I'm not gonna kill my mate." I look at him with an 'what did you just say' expression.

As if he could read my expression he says, "Yes, we are mates. Did you not feel the sparkly feeling I just felt as I walked into this cell?" I nodded my head slowly as if to say yes. He looks at me and answers my first question by saying, "You can see them but first let me show you to the room you will be staying in until we will be able to share a room." I look at him and say, "Share a room? I barely even know you! I don't even know your name! So if you think I'm gonna share a room with you than your dead wrong!"

He comes closer to me and towers over me. I start to back away slowly but he stops me by grabbing my waist and pulling me closer to his muscular chest, which is gorgeous by the way. "My names Luke, and you will accept that I am your mate like I have just accepted the at your are mine. You will also accept the fact that you will be sharing a room with me." There was a couple second pause as he releases me and says. "Now, if you will follow me I will show you to our room so you can get dressed before seeing your parents." I sigh in defeat and start to follow him up some stairs and down a long hallway and up another flight of stairs. "This is our room. You can take a shower and get dressed, there will be one of my guards to escort you to where your parents are. While you are showering I will head down to where your parents are. See you then." He walks out of the room and closes the door behind him. I look around the room and see a bed big enough for two and I think to myself, there is no way I'm sleeping in the same bed as that crazy Luke. I look around some more and see my suitcase from the car on the floor.

I bend down and grab a white t-shirt and some black shorts and open a door that led to a beautiful bathroom. I slowly take off my cloths and hop into the shower. I see that there is no shampoo or conditioner for women so I decided maybe for one day I can smell like him. As I put his shampoo in my hair I think about how I can tell my parents that my mate is a werewolf, let alone the alpha of one. As I thought of a way I wrap a towel around my soaked body and dry my hair with another. I put on the cloths I picked out before I got in the shower. I dry my hair with a blow dryer I found on the counter next to the sink. I step out of the bathroom once I was done. I walked to the bed and sat down just as I closed my eyes and ran over my plan on telling my parents about Luke I heard a knock on the door and saw the door swing open.  I see Larry from before standing at the door, I think he's the one that Luke said would take my parents. He answered my curiosity by saying, "Yes, I'm here to take you to your parents. It's good to see you alive Amy." I stand up and walk to Larry. "You werewolves really need to stop reading my mind like that." I said. "Sorry, can't help it." He says to me as he turns around and starts walking down the hallway.

I follow right behind him. I have a feeling we're gonna be pretty good friends.
