The Vampire and the Werewolf

Chapter 6

We finally reached the room that my mom and dad were being held. Larry opened the door for me, when the door was opened I could see my mom trying to hold back my dad from trying to pounce on Luke. Well, it looks like the plan I thought of will now, not work. Luke just stood there while my dad was throwing insults in his face. I walked up next to Luke. My dad gave me a sweet smile as he hugged me, but I could feel my dad mouth something to Luke that was behind me. My mom came in for a hug after me and my dad parted from our hug. Once I pulled away from my moms hug my father said. "Is this werewolf really your mate?" I stepped closer to Luke, "Yes, yes he is." My mom seemed happy to hear that I have found my mate but my father seemed outraged. I could see his eyes flicked from blue to red to blue, they did this repeatedly until he sighed of defeat. "If it's okay with both of you I would like to stay here with Luke and become the alpha female of this pack" I said in a shy tone so that my father wouldn't get extremely mad.

My father opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by my mom, "Of course you can sweetie. Your father and I are so happy you finally found your mate, aren't we Jerry?" "Yeah I guess we are." My father said in a defeated tone. He then hugged me tightly and whispered in my ear, "I really am glad, I'm just afraid he'll hurt you since... you know." I whispered back. "I know, and no need to worry. I'm a vampire remember?" My father smiled at me and nodded. He backed away from me so that my mother could hug me. When we parted from our hug I gave my mother a smile and she returned a sweet smile.

"Now, you better treat her well or I will come down here and rip your eyes out. You understand me?" My father said to Luke. "Jerry!" My mom yelled at my father. "It's okay Mrs. Jones." Luke said To my mother. "Please, just call me Isabell." My mother said while smiling to Luke. He returned a sweet smile and nod, then turned to my father and said, "She's in good hands sir." My father nodded his head. Larry then opened the door and motioned for my mother and father to follow. As Larry led my parents to the room they will be staying until they leave, I turned to Luke and said. "I'm not, I repeat, am not sleeping in the same bed as you. You hear me?" He chuckled and said, "I hear you. Now let's head to bed." I nodded my head as I realized how tired I was.

We started to walk toward the room that I will now call my own. I feels weird calling that room mine as well as Luke's. We were walking in silence until a girl came walking toward us with a stack filled with papers that toward over her eyes so that she couldn't see. She bumped into he and papers went flying everywhere. She looked up at me as I was rubbing my head with my hands and said. "Oh my, I am so, so, so sorry miss I didn't see you there." She looked up and saw Luke and said, "Hello alpha." "Meg, haven't I told you a thousand times to call me Luke. We've known each other since elementary." Said Luke. "Sorry Luke, it's just that I keep on hearing the other wolves call you alpha so I guess it just... stuck." Said the girl.

She looked over at me and apologized again while trying to gather all of the papers she had just dropped. I decided to help her, and so did Luke. "My names Meg, what's yours?" She asked me. "My names Amy, it's nice to meet you Meg." I said to her smiling. After a couple moments all of the papers were stacked into several piles. "You should probably take more than one trip." Said Luke looking down at Meg. "Yeah I guess your right." She said to Luke, she then looked at me and said, "Again, I'm really sorry about that Amy." "Oh your fine, it barely even hurt." I said while waving at her dismissing it. "Okay. Well, I'll see you two around. Bye Luke, bye Amy!" She said while picking up one stack of papers and walking off down the long corridor. I turned toward Luke and said, "How do you know her again?" He looked down at me and answered, "Her, Larry and myself were all great friends back in elementary, junior high, and high school. And we still are 'till this day."

He turned around and started walking forward again. I have a feeling that me, Meg, Larry, and of course Luke, were gonna be very close.
