Namjoon sighed as his phone rang. The same ring tone that had gone off 4 times in the past 5 minutes because Jimin thought it would be funny to keep calling Namjoon even if he was right next to him. Namjoon couldn't get through one page of the book he was reading without an interruption.

Namjoon picked up his phone, not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Yeoboseyo?" He sighed into the phone.

His eyes widened as he listened. He felt his eyes sting and his vision start to be blurred with tears. Panic set in as he listened to the words that were carefully strung together to help him understand the situation at hand. He understood perfectly though.

He got the information he needed and immediately hung up. He yelled to the boys as he frantically picked up what he could, dropping multiple things on his rushed trip to the car. He pushed all of the confused boys into the car, one after another. He gave them no time to buckle their seat belts as he sped down the street.

"What's going on?!" Jungkook asked, clearly terrified, confused, and on the verge of tears at this point.

Namjoon was focused on the road, he couldn't answer Jungkook's question. He couldn't answer because he didn't have the words. How could he tell them? How could he muster up the courage to tell them that their best friend is in the hospital and has only a 15% chance of surviving? How?

Namjoon had gotten there as fast as he could and parked in the very front. Once the car stopped he sighed and let his head fall on the back of the seat as he tried to process everything.

"Hyung, Why are we in front of a hospital?" Jimin asked, very confused.

"Because, Jimin, Jin is dying." Namjoon spat. He knew his words were insensitive, but he couldn't care less. He quickly opened the door and let the rest follow him into the hospital.

All the boys rushed into the hospital, their shoes and hair filled with sand.

The lady at the front desk stayed calm as the six boys panicked. They could lose their best friend.

They were told to wait.

Yoongi sat down in the seat while he listened to music to get his mind off of the situation. His foot tapped to the beat, but even if he acted like he didn't care you could see his trembling lips as he tried not to completely lose what was left of his patience. He wanted to scream at the doctors, tell them to work harder and faster. This was someone's life! Couldn't they understand that? This person had changed so many people's lives including his own and they couldn't work more efficiently? What kind of doctors were they? Why couldn't anyone even tell us what happened, it's not like he just turned up here! Something had to have happened! All Yoongi could do was put his hand in a fist, clench his jaw, and wait.

Namjoon paced as he waited. He mumbled to himself and checked the time every two seconds. He was restless, he needed answers. No, what he needed was for Jin to walk out with a smile of victory on his face. He couldn't lose Jin. Jin had kept the group together. If they didn't have him, where would they go? Questions ran through his head at a hundred miles a second, but anytime he could provide an answer to a question it leads to more questions. His brain was clouded and he had so many questions that could not be answered. He prayed to everything that Jin would be okay. He made bargains with anything he could, he needed someone to listen, to ensure that Jin would walk out okay.

J-hope sat hunched over in the corner seat, far away from the others. He was usually the 'happy virus'. He couldn't be the happy virus in this moment. He couldn't tell what he felt. He just sat there. There were no tears, but there was also no trace of a smile ever being on his face. The only way he could attempt to describe how he felt was saying that he felt like an empty shell. That's what he was, shell-shocked. He was confused, shocked, numb. He couldn't wrap his head around this. He was just left in a state of shock. He couldn't move anymore, he could barely think. He just wanted to fall through the floor into a never ending hole where all he could hear was his own deafening screams until his mind could finally be left at peace.

Jimin was a crying mess or at least he had been. Now he was just stuck in his thoughts. His eyes were red and puffy. His eyes were misty and were stuck staring at the wall opposite of him. His lips were dry and he had already cried so much from the overwhelming news that he was highly dehydrated. The only noise that came from him was the small sniffles that he let out every once in awhile. Every once in awhile his face would go back to a red as if he was going to start crying again, but only one silent tear would fall down his cheek leaving a glistening path down his face. He couldn't hear anything anymore. He was too stuck in his own thoughts to care for what was going on around him. The same scenes played over and over of the happy times they all had, had together. Like the time where they went to the beach and stayed until night to light sparklers and chase each other around with them around a campfire. He wished he could go back and enjoy that moment a little bit more instead of taking it for granted.

Taehyung didn't believe it. He was waiting for Jin to run out into the room and yell 'I pranked you!' And for them to hate him for a second, but then hug him. He refused to believe that Jin was actually in surgery trying to be saved. He refused to believe that Jin was dying. That Jin was right now in the room with wires poking out from him, with tools inside of his stomach, with his heart rate going down. He did not believe it. He couldn't believe it. He refused. He needed to believe that Jin was still alive. This couldn't be real, Taehyung couldn't let it be real. He wanted this to be a cruel joke, this HAD to be a manly man camera for the ARMYs, right? Jin couldn't just leave everyone and everything behind, right? Jin wouldn't do that. Jin is still alive or that's what Taehyung told himself.

Jungkook had accepted it. He needed no answers as to why this happened, why out of everyone Jin was the one to be hit. He had accepted that Jin was the one to be hurt in the accident. He had accepted that Jin was in the hospital with the chance of dying. He had to accept that fact to have hope that Jin would be okay. Jin would be okay. That is the sentence that Jungkook held onto with every fiber of his being. Jin was going to be okay. Jungkook had to accept that Jin could die, but he had to hold on to hope that Jin would be perfectly fine, surviving with only a few scars on his arms. So he sat in his chair accepting that Jin was hurt and was close to dying, but he also needed to pray that Jin would be okay. He would be okay, right?
