Ocean

"Mommy! What's all the yelling about?" A little boy came from Auggie's room and he looked so much like Auggie. He had blonde hair and big brown eyes which resembled Auggie's.

Auggie and Ocean are brothers by blood. Riley and Maya adopted them both since it would have been cruel to just separate them like that. Ocean looked like he was only 2 years old.

"Mommy!" Ocean repeated. Ocean slowly walked towards Riley with his arms reaching out towards her while Auggie followed behind him. Riley noticed they were wearing matching shirts and thought it was adorable.

Riley picked Ocean up and smiled at him. Auggie latched onto her right leg and hid behind Riley when he saw Maya. He knew that Maya hurt his mother and he wanted to stay away from her.

"It's nothing Auggie."

"Mommy, you look pretty." Ocean didn't speak much since he was only 2 but he mostly repeats what he hears without even knowing what it means.

"Thank you, Ocean."

"Welcome."

"Hi Auggie." Maya said and gave him a little wave.

Auggie tightened his grip on Riley and shuffled closer to her. "Mommy..."

"It's fine Auggie. Just stay behind me." Maya frowned at her words and sighed. "Mommy, ice cream." Ocean said excitedly.

Riley giggled and placed Ocean down. "Ok, give me 5 minutes." She said holding up 5 fingers. He copied her action and repeated, "5 minutes."

Auggie took his hand and ran back off into their room. "Riley..."

"Just tell me what I need to know."

"Well that's all really. I mean like..you hang out with this guy named Lucas a lot. He's your other best friend. Your favorite place to go is Topanga's because you and all your friends always hung out there back in high school. You love reading books and you always liked to read those R.L. Stine books even though they were made for 12 year olds. Your favorite series was the Horrorland series. Your favorite show to watch is teen wolf and you like to binge watch it with your cousin Josh."

"So you already covered all the important things?"

"Um yes. Any questions?"

"No."

"Oh...well I should be going then..."

"Yeah. Bye."

Maya got up and headed for the door. "Bye..."

Riley sat down and licked her strawberry ice cream while spoon feeding Ocean some vanilla ice cream. "More, more, more!" He shouted in excitement. Riley smiled and gave him some of hers since his cup of ice cream was basically finished.

Auggie licked happily away at his cookies and cream ice cream without caring if it got all over his face.

"Sweetie, you've gotten yourself all dirty." Riley said looking at Auggie's now dirty clothes. "Sorry! This ice cream is just so good."

Riley got some napkins and wiped some of the ice cream off of his face. "Now your going to have to take an extra long bath when you get home."

"No, no, no." Ocean said shaking his head, "Not you baby. You're clean as can be."

"Yay!" He shouted and threw his hands up into the air.

"Oh, Ocean." Riley said while looking at him lovingly.
