Rayn's POV

"Go away!" I whine, it's the first morning at Hogwarts, one hour until breakfast and Lily was already waking me up.

"I'll make sure that you don't get any food unless you get up right this second." Lily threatens. My eyes open and I jump out of bed, throwing on my uniform and my sneakers, brushing my now green hair and teeth at speed. The girls all laugh at my big rush. "Wow! Well, I'm going to get ready for school, a bit slower than you, feel free to wake the boys!" Lily giggles before going into the bathroom. My hair changes colour to a light shade of red, and I roll my eyes, I go to the boys' dormitories to find them all fast asleep.

I wake Remus up easily. We look at the others then back to each other, with mischievous glints in our eyes. We make sure that the room is sound proof and do a spell to make my voice ten times louder than usual. My hair was now purple and red, I'm not quite sure why, though.

"WARNING!!!! EARTH TO PETER PETTIGREW, JAMES POTTER, AND SIRIUS ORION BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS NO MORE FOOD LEFT AT THE GREAT HALL!!!!!!!!!!!!" I had shouted as loud as possible, making the boys jump, Peter actually fell off his bed! They all got dressed as quickly as I did, Remus and I were laughing our heads off. I muttered the counter-spell for my voice. "Good, now, let's go to breakfast." The boys smile. "HALF AN HOUR BEFORE CLASSES!" James and Sirius look at me in fury, and tackle me to the ground. "REM!!" I say through breaths, the two boys are tickling me. "H-HELP M-ME!!" Remus laughs and grabs the two boys, pulling them away from me. "Thank you, Rem." I stand up, brushing myself off. "Now then, let's go downstairs and meet up with Lily." James' face lit up and he rushed downstairs. The rest of us rolled our eyes and followed.

"Finally," Lily said, "I thought that you would never come down. Let's go!" We mess around for a while but I see Severus Snape walking alone through the corridors. I nudge James and Sirius and they smirk. We walk towards him, me in front.

"Oi! Snivelous Snape!" I shout. The boys laugh but Lily frowns. "Your hair is amazing, what shampoo and conditioner do you use? Oh hang on, I remember now, you don't use any!" The boys laugh yet again, but Lily gasps and runs over to Snivelous, who is pretty close to crying. She puts a protective arm around him.

"I'm so sorry Sev, please ignore them." Lily glared at me. "And don't you worry, those cruel dimwits aren't my friends. They never will be." My smile dropped and my hair went grey and dark blue. She just called me a cruel dimwit and dis-friended me! I cover my mouth and run in the opposite direction, crying. The boys were hot on my heels.

"Ray, it's alright!" James says.

"No it isn't!" I snap, "You just lost whatever chance you had with Lily and I lost the only magical friend of mine who was a girl!!" James' eyes widen in fear, Sirius attempts to comfort him. I am full on crying, in Remus' arms.
