I lay there on the cool kitchen floor, feeling the warm blood rolling down the cuts that reopen as I kept cutting and cutting my arms, neck. I held the kitchen knife tightly in my left hand, digging it into the side of my leg. I smiled, feeling more pain blood poured out as I took it out and letting my hand lay down in the blood.

"Feeling better?" A whisper came from behind me, with a chuckle.

"Why can't you leave me alone?" I hiss, closing my eyes as I felt the thing getting closer. "This is your fault... if you would have just left me alone... this wouldn't have happened".

"Oh, really. Or is that what you want to think..." the thing, a monster from somewhere unknown to others. But as clear to me as anything else. "Laran".

"That's not my name... it's Mira... Mira Snow".

It made a long hiss right into my ear. "Laran... that was your name before is life and you know it, my lovely. You and I... We will be one, soon enough", it laugh.

"I don't think so... when I die, I'll go to heaven".

"No, you wouldn't. You wouldn't be allowed in... you know why?"

I open my eyes, to see a black demon with red eyes staring right back at me. I didn't jump, or gasp for air. The same demon who haunted me, ever since I was born into this world. "Why not?" The words were cut of by a scream, that came for the door to my room.

It laughed. Then disappeared without another word.

I close my eyes, sighing. Pain, blood. 'Let me die, my Lord'.

***********
My head started to spin, voices came and went. But none made senses to me, nothing around me did.

"She lost a lot of Blood".

"Do you know what type she is?"

"The test isn't back, Doctor".

"Shit".

"Putting her under now".
**********
'Where am I?' I thought. Scared to open my eyes, to see the same monster, fear wash over me.

"Do you know who she is?" A man spoke, walking towards me.

"Yes, sir. Mira Snow, 21. Birthday, February, 20, year 1995. Parents unknown, no family. Brown eyes and...."

"I get it... Thank you, you may leave now".

"Sir?"

"I said leave", the man spoke loudly.

The other man just run out, without another word.

"Look at you, I never thought I'll be meeting you like this. Laran..."

'Laran? Why does that demon and now this stranger call me by that name?'

"My dear, sweet Laran. Why did you leave? What made you leave our people?" I felt a warm hand, rubbing my cheek. "Laran, I know your not asleep. So open your eyes... so should I call you by your other name. Then shall be it, open your eyes Mira Snow".

His voice ring through my mind, as if it shook me deep down. I sat up, breathing heavy as if someone slapped me across the face. "Who are you?" Staring up at the man, who looked to be in his late 20's and standing to be six feet and three.

"Your old friend, you used to call me Serbian", his smile, gave me slivers down my shine. His hair dark black, eyes were a colour that I've never seen before on anyone. Golden, with hazel brown to them.

"Serbian?"

"That's right, Laran of Darkness and Demons. Or is it Mira Snow, a woman who tried to die...because of a demon called Arse tried calling you back to the darkness that you leave behind so many years ago".

"Who are you?"

"You already asked that, what you mean is what am I?"

I swallowed. "What are you?"

"An fallen angel".

"Why do you call me Laran?"

He smiled, sitting down on the bed now, his hand rubbing my cheek once again. "Because that's who you are... a half angel and half demon... Who became someone powerful, feared".

I sat there frozen. Nothing made senses, what is he talking about?

"Soon enough, you will remember... you always do, my dear friend. But for now, sleep".
