Alex just stared at me, it fell like he was able to see inside of me. "Zoe, we don't have time to play around. Give me the keys", he told me.

"I know, we don't have time to play around", I said.

"So give me the keys", Alex said. He was about to try and grab the keys out of my bra. But I crossed my arms and stopped him.

"No, I wouldn't. Not until you tell me the truth", I told him, while pushing my back to the door.

"About what?" he asked.

"About your mom and brother", I answered.

"Zoe, not right now. Later, after we'll in the house", he told me.

"A house. How would you know if it's a house we'll going to?" I asked in a mad voice.

"Because your mom told me", he sighed.

"Wait a minute. My mom told you, but not me. I remember my mom saying that someone was going to protect me, it was you", I said.

"Yes, I know", he told me.

"You knew, it was you?" I asked in a madder voice. 'Now I remember Alex telling me, that my mom asked him to come back. To protect me'.

"Yes", he answered.

I was so mad, it felt like my blood was boiling in my veins. "Why didn't she tell me? That it was you", I asked, before I buried my face into my hands.

"Because she didn't want to scare you", Alex answered.

"And you?" I asked before looking up at him.

"I was scared to tell you, too. That it was me who will protect you. To tell you, that I love you and that we were mates", Alex told me as he looked out to the road.

"You were scared, why?" I asked, as I looked out too.

He sighed, "Because I didn't..." we heard a big bang on the window and I jumped. I got more scared and started shaking.

"What the hell are you two doing?" we heard Amy's voice and I slowed down my racing heart.

Alex rolled down the window and she stuck her head through it. "Zoe, is not giving me the keys", Alex told her.

"Zoe, give him the keys. The bad guys are still after you", Amy told me.

I sighed, before I pulled out the keys form my bra. Amy's eye brow raised up and sighed too.

"Give it to him", she told me. I put it in Alex's open hand and Amy stepped back.

"Thanks, Amy", Alex thanked her.

"Yes", she said before running into the woods.

Alex rolled up the window and started the car up again. I looked out my window, before he drove off.

I sat there in silence and let the memorizes in my head hit me. The tears ran down my face, when I stopped holding them back.

My mom didn't told me, that it was Alex who was going to protect and hide me. Alex was my mate. My parents and Nicole were going to die soon. My siblings were vampires and I was going to be one on my birthday.

Marry my great grandma was after me. So was the lion princess, they both had people who stopped them. But I was to exhausted to see if they were the same person, even if they were. How was I going to stop them, when I'm a new born vampire.
