Leroy's P.O.V

My father and I stood there in the hallway, until one of the servants came and took us to a room to meet her. The special hidden vampire princess, Maya Woodfire and who is also the oldest vampire alive to this really day.

"The princess will be here soon. So please sit", the man servant told my father and I.

But before we could, there was a light knock on the door and the male opened it; in seconds.

"My princess, it's so nice to see you once again", my father spoke, as he got down on his right knee and bow, like nothing I've seen before.

I looked up, to see a beautiful little girl standing at the doors. Her light brown hair up and braid on the top wrap around her head. Her eyes were fixed on my father, she smile a little before speaking.

"It's been a long time, Martin", she stop and stare right at me. "I see, that you have your son here", her voice sounded so old for having the body that looked to be about ten.

"Yes, this is Leroy. Princess Maya Woodfire".

"Please call me, Maya. Leroy, it's nice to see you once again", she spoke.

"Huh?" I ask; confused.

"We met a long time ago, when you were just a baby", she told me, as she slowly walked up to me. "Look at you now, all grow up. You look just like your grandfather, but you have your mother's green eyes".

"I.... Thank you, my princess".

"Just call me, Maya", she stop and sat down on the white chair. "Take a seat".

So we did on the white couch, "Maya, we are here because of what happened..." my father, kept going on about what was happening on the outside world and of course about the King.

I just sat there, staring at her unable to believe that this girl was the oldest vampire alive. I never thought, that she would look so young. I met her once before, but I was so little, I don't remember her what so ever.

"How old are you?" Asking out loud with no control at all.

"Leroy, that's something you should never ask a lady", father spoke; a bit mad.

"It's okay, Martin", she look back at me with a kind smile on her pale white skin. "I am almost 600 years old, my birthday is on July of the 13".

I froze, 'What? She's that old'. I blinked my eyes. "You're older than the King".

"Yes, I am. I was his first master after all and maker", Maya spoke to me, kindly. "I was turned at the age of nine and haven't age since then".

"Turned by who? May I ask?"

"By the first King of vampires, of course. Twenty years before he become the ruler, I was the first he turned and the youngest as well".
