"I feel like death," Ryan.
In an uninterested response, "that's so contradictory," Nick replied.
"I think that explains my situation perfectly," Ryan retorted.
"The meaning of death is the ending of life while to feel means to experience this, I can tell you from experience that you are as of right now not at the end of your life and you yourself have experienced coming close to death too many times and this is nowhere near to that," Nick lectured.
With a sad almost pitiful look Ryan admitted defeat, Nick was right the ample times that he took a blow during a battle and closed his eyes not knowing whether he would wake back up after suffering injuries that left normal people handicapped was nothing compared to potentially failing a test. A failed test was easily overcome by simply passing the re-sit but overcoming death was a fete, no one born of this Earth could ever surpass. Regardless how much money, power or kinacs you possessed simply due to the fact that whether human or Organia we are all born in sin and imperfect. That being said all you could do is prevent Death but still being imperfect, this isn't something we could ever accomplish, so instead of preventing death which in itself is impossible the better way to look at it is that the numerous times I woke back up after receiving what should have been a death blow would be because He simply decided I had more to do first.
-Smack!-
"OW! you've got a pretty solid hand for someone with less muscle mass than me." Ryan said rubbing the back of his head.
"-chuckle- muscle isn't everything and I hit you to tell you quit spacing out, you might run into someone."
"You could have simply given me punch on the arm like a regular person but nah you had to hit a guy in the back of his head."
"Quit worrying you did fine on that test." Nick said giving him a pat on the back.
-Sigh- "Yea thanks, oh I got something to show you,"
Ryan dug in his bag for whatever it was he was looking for and had his full attention looking for the thing, that he didn't notice a girl coming in his direction. He collided with the girl and stumbled back while the girl fell on her side, and was pushed backwards a good couple of feet.
"Ow!" she winced as her head made contact with a corridor pillar.
"Damn I'm so sorry!!" Ryan said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her up.
"Yea, that's alright," Rilyn said rubbing the side of her face.
"...I...really am sorry about that "
"It's fine really and um, can I have my hand back, I'm already late for class again, " she says as she turned to run off.
"Oh right, wait, I didn't get your name,"
"Rilyn" she says as she ran off.
He couldn't help it, as she ran off he just stood there watching her...something about her just made him stop. It felt like she was pulling his consciousness towards her. Also he pushed her down pretty hard, so he hoped he didn't put a bruise on her.
"Wow, you fell for her just like that, just so you know, I'm telling you not asking." Nick said walking off.
"Hold up, I won't deny she's gorgeous but it's too early to say." Ryan said following Nick down the hill.
