Gabe had dropped Jack off at the dorm and headed towards his class, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and saw all the text from Amelie that had been piling up since that morning.
He didn't bother reading them, and instead he called her. It barely got past the first dial tone before she picked up.
"So Lena told me you had a date with a someone." He could hear the grin in her voice.
"I made the plan before you made it a dare." He yawned.
"Hm. Well I think now's a good a time as any for you to give me my dare."
Gabe rolled his eyes and though for a second, "You're dating Lena, right?"
"What? No-"
"I mean," he ignored her as she kept talking, "Why else would you ask for a dare that you knew was going to involve her."
"Gabriel, I am not going out with her." she hissed.
Gabe smiled, "Sure, sure. And I'm not going out with Wisconsin. Your dare is..." he pretend to click his tongue like he was thinking, "Take her to a nice dinner, and I mean nice dinner. Not a chain." she was dead silent for a while, but he knew she wouldn't hang up.
"Alright." she said flatly. "You have to do the same."
"Get creative-"
"No rules." She reminded him as she hung up. Gabe rolled his eyes again and put his phone away as he opened the door to the building and it closed with a heavy thud. He started thinking of a way to actually have a nice dinner that didn't involve him being broke as hell.
