"McDerm-" I began as he maneuvered, dragging me along with him. "What the hell?" Once outside, he walked over to the side of the house, rolling his shoulders.

"Why did you drag me here?" I inquired, taking off my slut-ettos and holding them in one hand.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He said at the same time.

"I asked first," I childishly replied.

"This is the only place you'd willingly talk to me."

"For a good reason!" I vehemently interjected. "You, you-" I growled, my words not formulating properly.

"Did you just growl?" He asked in disbelief. At my hesitant nod, he threw his head back and laughed.

He looks so attractive, goddamn.

"There's nothing funny about this, McDermott!" I retorted, my face red. He let the laughter die out, his eyes soft as they slowly raked in my form.

The red of my cheeks creeping down to my throat when I realized what I was wearing completely contradicted my personality. This wasn't the Arwen McDermott knew. I was a completely different person.

"What did I do wrong?" McDermott whispered, stepping closer to me. The moonlight shone on his face, making him look like some other worldly creature. I shook my head, not wanting to answer.

"I-"

"Arwen-" I gasped, my green eyes coming in contact with his silver ones. This was the first time he'd addressed me by my name.

"You just-" I sputtered, at a loss for words. Once again, the sharp tongued viper was flabbergasted. "You used my name?" It came out like a question.

McDermott looked frozen, as if he couldn't believe I called him out.

"Yeah," he coughed out, "I did." Coming even closer, he toyed with his lip ring. "I asked you if you were okay with-"

He broke off his sentence, looking frustrated with himself. Pursing his lips together, he came to a resolve, as he gave an inconspicuous nod. "I like you."

At my non-responsiveness, he continued. "I know I told you that much before. And you were okay with ... getting to know me better, I just don't know why you started ignoring me after."

"McDermott," I began, my voice wavering. "Why were you kissing her?"

"Who?" He instantly replied, voice confused.

"The girl who threa-"

"What?" He caught my slip up. "Who threatened you? Why didn't you tell me?" He was infuriated, the silver of his eyes flashing dangerously.

"Stop dodging the fucking question, McDermott."

"Arwen, I don't know what you're talking about. And who threatened you?"

"McDermott, I saw you!" I exploded, my fury uncontrollable. "You say you want to get to know me better, yet you went and kissed her in front of me!"

"Look," he sighed out. "We're going nowhere with this back and forth bullshit. Tell me straight up what you saw."

"Kiesha Smith." I spat, my voice wavering. I was not the girl who cried. Fuck outta here with tears. "I saw you lip locking with her in the hallway." After controlling my emotions, I narrowed my eyes. "Any the girl from tonight! You were kissing her, too!"

"When the fuck was I kissing Kiesha Smith?" He exclaimed. "The girl tonight wanted her drugs, but didn't want anyone knowing, so she took em her own way."
